when my zeus was new i remember it had a tag with a warning not to put any STICKERS on the helmet. My zeus' color is flat silver, i assume the warning means the sticker will damage the finish, but i dont know about wax. i wax my other glossy finish helmets wout any problems.

yup i always do that. just don't put too much wax on it. yung tamang kapal lang ng pahid. para di ka mahirapan magbuff :)

Seriously. magkaiba ang wax at polish. Of course a car wax can be used as a helmet wax and a car polish can be used as helmet polish. FYI, ang tamang step sa car ay clean, polish then wax. Sa helmet ganoon din pero pwede mo na skip ang polish kasi baka over na.

And another debate would be the sliding resistance of the helmet itself. Of course you want your helmet to slide easily when you hit the pavement and helmet manufacturers says that if you put stickers on your lid with a rough sticker on it probably slides less well.

Again this is what the lid manufacturers says regarding putting stickers on your lid.. but if you'd ask me.. stickers can add up visibility specially if the sticks are the reflectorized ones. "

my ZEUS don't allow any chemical on outer shell. just mild soap and water.

Tama ka jawfree,mild soap lang daw., tapos may nk-sulat sa manual na avoid petroleum based solvent,eh yung turtle wax merong petrolleum distillates contents.

yep tama kayo. may nakalagay sa manual na avoid petroleum based solvents. kaya ako 100% cotton rag (sirang brief ko:D) moistened with water lang ang panlinis ko.
