At least buhay.

ride safe bro...

jet type / open face helmets are actually safe to use, thats the reason why even big manufacturers make them...and there are models which are certified.

there's a type of helmet that is suitable to your riding needs...and even the most expensive Full Face helmet will not save the rider if he rides like there's no tomorrow....

As per TS' question, full face helmets are much more safer para sakin.

Kaya lang just limit your speed mas maganda kung nasa 50 to 60kph lang ang takbo niyo just to be safe.

different type of helmets were designed according to its use/purpose.

for me, i'm using jet type for my daily office ride; modular/full-face for long-ride.

back to topic, so while reading all your comments and suggestion, jet type helmet is also safe kasi ginawa ito ng mga manufacturer

depende na lang ang laki ng damage in terms of accident at speed ng mc

with the one posted above running at 50 to 60 will be definitely fine

yan lang naman ang speed ko if me back ride ako

so more info pa po mga sir planning to buy her a new lid this december :)

just choose wisely bro...the most common jet type helmets out there are not certified...got to try one too...the shell is too thing ang the EPS liner is not securely installed in the shell and also very thin...

check out the different manufacturer's sites to see which ones are certified...

I have a Fullface, a Modular, Halface & Jet Helmet. Each style has their own unique qualities as well as pros & cons of usage & protection.

I bought my wife a KBC Modular Helmet, she's only worn it once coz i insisted on it kasi coz we went on a semi long ride, from QC to Metrowalk which was far for her already.

Some women tends to feel claustrophobic on a full face or modular thats why they want a helmet thats give them an open feeling as much as possible. Get her nalang a Halface. You wont go wrong with that choice...

ganito ata ang jet type eh

"Jet" helmet is a term used mostly by Europeans for open faced helmets with visor. For us, we sometimes refer to it as the "half face" but the term "half face" can also mean the cruiser "tabo" helmet in the US.

"Jet" helmet is something like the Zeus 506W and Zeus 608A with a full visor and full back.

But there's another category called the "Demi-Jet" or "Half-Jet" like the Zeus 202GB and AGV Blade pictured above. It is the shorter version of the usual Jet helmet and it is very popular in Europe cuz these helmets can usually fit under the seat of most scooters over there.

In fairness, I had a lowside before on a Scoot wearing a Halface BUT still, the level of safeness depends on how a rider knows how to react at the last second before the crash. I happened to slide sideways on the incident. Of course, a frontal landing is definitely safer on a fullface.

So, youre saying that binabackride mo Wife mo right now with what??? I highly recommend that you dont gamble her safety until youve gotten her a safety gear before u decide to backride her on you motot. I did...
