for safety reason siguro, leather na yan, so maganda pa rin yan compared to other footwear.
ang tanong lang siguro, comfortable ba yan for long rides?

I'm a guy, I seriously like women, a lot. Particularly boobies. But those boots, on a girl, on the commute during rush hour. I don't think so.

In a biker magazine, sure why not. As a booth babe for some motorcycle dealer, again, cool.

Safe - they look leather so I would presume they offer a decent amount of protection from road rash and such.

Practical. Probably not. How do you change gears or hit the rear brake?

mama GP san mo nakuha yang pics?in fairness bonggang bongga yan..me red and black kaya yan??bagay yan sa akin hehehe

para hindi OT:
IMHO i don't think it's safe, that's why I don't use 'em. I don't care din naman if napapagkamalan akong lalake, it's when I remove my helmet nalalaman na lady rider pala ako..I like that mysterious effect hahahaha. nahirapan ako maghanap ng racing boots but it's ok, worth it naman talaga:)

kung ibang lady riders gumagamit ng ganyan it's their choice..

hahaha yes i remember pag nasa gasolinahan, "sir" magakno po...

Para di OT i think its not safe coz in a emergency situation it will more likely do harm than good. example in a situation you need to stop immediately and to counteract or balance you need to put down your feet on the ground maybe after the contact with the ground the heels would likely to break because of the the pressure. kasi kita ko sa iba naglalakad lang nababalian na ng heels.. but anyways its just my opinion.. i cant really say how safe it is w/o trying to test or to see one in action. But to be on the safe side we can just follow this simple rule. "Always use the right tool for the right job" (wag na hiritan pa ha kasabihan lang po generalize na lang natin hehehe:D) Right?;)

eh panu pag ang motor mo ehh SCOOTER, E.G DINK, MIO, NOVOU, O KAHIT ANU NA DI GINAGAMITAN NG SHIFTER???

yes maraming pang issue..di lang sa sapatos na to..but this thread specifically state the issue on high heeled matulis na sapatos..is it really safe? now that it has been posted sa malakeng billboard? yes comfortability kanya kanya yan..but does it really subscribe with the safety? does it not cause any inconvenience on the shifting using underbone? people will really need to talk about it..since it has now flagged for public consumption sa mga mare.

Allow me to give my apologies. You absolutely have my support :-) You'd be unique, expressing yourself in ways that tell me you are your own person, you do what you do because it makes you feel good, and that makes you entirely socially acceptable in my book.

Stay safe, and ride those boots. :-)

not only matulis na heels o malapad na heels o kahit sandamakmak na heels yan... its the way of explaining to the people how safety is done... and how safety you drive a motorcycle.. sana pla ehh sinama ung motor ng mga riders na yan para makita natin ano mga gamit nilang MC..

i dont think sila pinaguusapan dito...yung boots ang pinaguusapan. the billboard captivate the public..not the faces in it..but the safety they are implying. well, there are too many option naman na pagpipilian nila noh..they can wear racing suit if they want to while commuting or touring. but the question is does the boots stated above apply in general? well, as i said pwede naman sila pumili noh? hahaha tsk tsk. what a complex safety campaign.

Lets not forget this thread...specific ang title nito. lets not jump into other topic..if you want, you can change the subject then lets talk about everything in it.

Pa-cute/pa-sexy: Yes. Definitely.

Safety: No. Definitely. Come on! Sexy (pointy) High heeled lady riders are only for the movies. Pointy High heels for "real" riding? Come on! I don't think this needs any explanation.

Broadening the topic by saying that shoes are not the only aspect in safety is begging the issue. We are talking about safety of high heel boots per se. So let's stick to that only... lest this topic ends up like the helmet thread.

So for me... High heel boots (pointy ones) are not safe at all. In fact, I think they are very stupid. Though, I must admit they do look sexy.

nice thread...

but i don't really know the answer kasi i haven't used high heeled boots on my rides.

and whenever i don't have a long ride, i am always using mga RACING TSINELAS :crazy:

BUT if ever i see girls (or gays) wearing high heeled boots while riding, BONGGACIOUS ang tingin ko.

i don't condemn on how they appear.

... and baka mas comfortable sila pag ganun..

a rider who was wearing riding boots mentioned "Ang hirap pala ng naka-boots.. di ako maka-kambyo ng maayos." (i think it would be more dangerous for him wearing that RIDING BOOTS kasi he can't shift gears comfortably...)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i can wear 3-inch heels.....
and i get ankle sprain..... on FLAT SHOES.
weird no? :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"if ever" i get a scoot, i can give high heeled boots a try (ON-ROAD) and find out if it's comfortable or not.

but if you're talking of SAFETY, i think it all depends on the rider na.

eh kaya naman pala eh...try ridin it using underbone..i know it will work on rearset well..kase sungkit na lang yun..stock? pagyan dala mo? sungkitin mo na lang din (ang lalim nun since in stock you foot is straight balance to the peg..unlike rearset, pointing downward ka so its easier to make sungkit.

pwede sa scoot..not for underbones..di ko lam sa bigbike.
