On November 11, 2008, Dragon's Daily Guidance book V was started. Yesterday, September 2, 2009, it reached it's limit in terms of number of pages it could posts for a particular thread.

I am truly grateful that the administrators of MCP has allowed me to post the daily bible passages in these past few years. I hope I may continue doing so for the rest of my God-given years. May you all find guidance from these words from our gospel.

You might be wondering why I have failed to post the daily scriptures since Sunday. It's because my family is among those affected by the fury of Ondoy. Here is an email i sent to friends related to my family's experience:

"Our family is among the thousands affected by tropical storm Ketsena (Ondoy). The flood waters reach the 2nd floor of our home. Outside our street ( Pres. Aguinaldo St. , Industrial valley Subd., Marikina ), the flood level reached the cable/tel. lines!

Unestimated amount of damage to our properties resulted from this tragedy.

We are truly grateful to our Lord that no limb nor life were lost & for the "angels" He sent our way to help us in every way (ei. amphibian rescue team who rescued my family from the 3rd level of our home; gifts & moral support from family and friends, etc.).

However, Many more families from our neighboring Barangays are not as a fortunate. Hundreds remained homeless, wet, and hungry. The situation presents us an opportunity to be "Men for Others". Prayers and donations (food/clothing/home building materials, etc..be creative, share your blessings!) are much welcome.

Its always better for us providing the support than us needing it. Be the "Man for Others" we are expected to be. You may proceed to the nearest donation drop-off points or if you want a an "aftermath experience", you may want to visit us at #54 Pres. Aguinaldo St., Industrial Valley Subd., Marikina. to give your pledge. All donations coursed through me will go through Couples for Christ.

Dont woryy, the water (& mud) have subsided . Expect to get muddy though. We can offer you nothing from our home, not even clean chairs to sit on but the opportunity for one to be a better person today!
