Filipinos (or Pinoys, as they prefer to call themselves) have a pair of eyes, ears and nostrils, two arms and legs much like humans. They pout and use their lips instead of their fingers to point to things, and they can understand each other using various body languages and gestures without uttering a word. At home, a Filipino family's hospitality is renowned worldwide. They will more than happily accept over $500 worth of food and groceries, but will be extremely insulted if you offer to make even one grilled cheese sandwich.

To get a Filipino's attention, just say "Hoy!", or "Psstttt!", or "Pssst uyy!!!". If this approach fails, yell "DOG!" and they will turn around, fangs bared and eyes bulging, saying "WHERE?!"

They have an appendage called a celfone which they use to communicate with their herd. This body part, if taken away from a Filipino, will result in paranoia. This makes it easier for biologists to identify the Filipinos in the wild, since they have their individual IMEI numbers which the scientists can track. Filipinos immediately respond to celfone messages rather than any emergency and calls you can imagine.

Whitening cream and transexualism is very popular with Filipinos. Over half of the GDP comes from these two interests.

Coņos & Jologs

There exists two subcultures in this race, the "coņos" (a name for the pinoy bourgeoisie, it actually means "cunt" in Spanish. Yeah you know, pink tacos, pussy, pink hole, etc.) and the "jologs".
Because of their so-called intelligence, the so-called experts at Wikipedia will never have a proper article about Filipino. We are sorry they are blatantly retarded.

The coņos flaunt their superficiality through extravagant lifestyles and kissing American capitalism's ass. Examples of such are Tim Yap, Tessa Prieto Valdez, Kris Aquino and all the Cojuancos and Madrigals that walk the face of the earth. Their vocabulary includes using the word "like" and "prrrrang" (two separate words, usually used together... "like... prrrang... um... like... prrrang... uh, like yeah, that one..."). Do not forget the "you know" plus "kase eh", then it becomes "like... prrrang.. um like you know kase eh... uhm you know? like, like that oh?".[2]
For those without comedic tastes, the self-proclaimed experts at Wikipedia have an article about Filipino.

Then there are the "jologs" or the masses, who want to be like the coņos but can't because of the poverty and corruption. Their wardrobe consists of third world coņo-wannabe shirts that have (intentionally?) bad spelling, ie. Mike (Nike), Gutshy (Gucci), Praba (Prada), Skaters (Skechers), Havanas (havaianas) etc.[3]; or has to make do with second-hand designer clothing to fit in the crowd.

Peculiarities on the Jologs Sub-culture

Furthermore, a more unique feature of the jologs subculture is that it has its own self-made religion wherein they worship the tenets of ABS-CBN. International singer, philanthropist and horti-culturalist April "Boy" Regino speculates that the continuous admiration of Willie Revillame, the so-called supreme deity of the jologs subculture, is a manifestation of both genuine Filipino religiosity and happy-go-luckiness.[4] However, due to a stampede tragedy during a religious ceremony (known as Wowowee), a substantial part of the jologs demographic reverted to the now archaic religion of the trinity between Tito, Vic and Joey.

Evolution is also evident in the Philippines. Charles Darwin would have been elated if he were alive today. A man is commonly called Filipino and a woman is called Filipina. The past few years have seen the emergence of a new race - the half-Filipino, half-Filipina - or in local language, the ''Bakla''. Scientists are baffled about how this new breed propagates, as there is no evidence that they ever get pregnant.[5]
[edit] Bat **** Insane Behavior

Main Article: Bat **** Insane

Most Filipinos are bilingual and well educated. In fact, the Philippines has a high literacy rate and sometimes at par with first world countries, like Mordor. But the majority of Filipino college graduates have a tendency to go overseas, sell themselves short and get a crappy job somewhere else - somehow just for the sake of it. Some experts speculate that Filipinos love to **** in their own underwear and say that their country is going down in flames even if there is a seemingly good chance of getting a high paying job locally. Other experts agree that most Filipinos are just bat **** insane and get ****-ass jobs abroad so that others will think that they are "playa N gots da bling". This kind of behavior reached its peak during the '90s when a would be doctor went to some foreign white-ass continent to become a nurse - now really, that's bat **** insane!!! And when they have escaped their imaginary "Mogadishu-like" image of the Philippines they have embedded in their pathetic minds, they somehow adopt their current location as their hometown. This kind of bat **** insane behavior was first seen in Friendster and MySpace, and TV shows such as Eat Bulaga and Wowowee (yay representing California!!! Califor-N-I-A!!!!). Leading Filipino scholar and national hero Raganciano Kapitapitagan Junior says that only Filipinos who love to eat dogs and put highlights in their hair exhibit this kind of bat **** insane behavior.[Citation needed]

Filipinos also have a propensity to diss their homeland. They love taking snapshots of squatters and crappy places in the country and send them to contests and exhibits and stuff, and foreigners will think that the Philippines is indeed going down the ****hole. Imagine a photo contest where other countries have breathtaking sceneries and beautiful images as their entries . . . get it??? Now imagine diarrhea-afflicted squatter kids somewhere in a dumpsite taking a dump and crying . . . yeah that would be the Philippines's best photo ever!!! A country gifted with a natural God-given beauty, and all you get is a bat **** insane photo in the eyes of a bat **** insane "artist". Now seriously, that's bat **** insane!!![Citation needed, though not really]

Filipino
What the ****!!!! We have hobos and **** in our country and I'm sure there are skanky-ass-dirt-poor people in other parts of the world maybe worse than the Philippines!!! I've been in the Philippines and its a motha****in fly-ass country!!! But why do these punk-ass bitches love to take broke-ass photos like that? That is just mutha****in bat **** insane bitch!!! [6]

Filipino

—Award winning photographer and nobel prize winner Rick James

Most Filipinas love to be 'hos for the White Man and marry them. These innocent and sweet Filipinas are quickly transformed to the blonde-haired greasy-ass looking bitches we see in Friendster and MySpace as soon as they set foot on the White Man's soil. Statistics show that only the females exhibit this kind of bat **** insane behavior. Experts say it is not clear why most male Filipinos never get the urge to bang a white foreigner and take them as their wives. Its either they're not bat **** insane or they're just plain butt ugly in the eyes of a white bitch. "This is bat **** insane, I gotsta get myself a hot-ass Filipina bitch!!!", says one White Guy who think he's from da 'hood. Hence the birth of the mail-order bride business.[Citation from a 'mail order bride client' needed]
They just love 'em White People.

Experts also noticed that other Asians stick to their own kind and marry someone within their race. "Knee-how, they like they baby to look like Balbie becos they bat **** insane !!!", says one Chinese who wish to remain anonymous on bat **** insane Filipinas.

"And I lab fly lice too!!!", the Chink added.[Citation from a Chinese needed]

Filipinos who exhibit the bat-****ingest insane behaviour are in the United States of America. Immigrants from all over the world normally speak their own language in their homes, and never forget how to speak in their native tongue. Filipinos will automatically get a sort of "language amnesia" as soon as they become American Citizens or Green Card holders.[Citation needed? Nope this one is right on the money]

Thi...this is not true. Ac....actually this is ju...just plain offensive t...to the Filipino people, says Gary Valenciano, a green card holder who never speaks Tagalog. He later found out that he is also bat **** insane. Gary Valenciano is also a world class epileptic, and the best friend of Martin Nievera - who is also bat **** insane and never speaks Tagalog.[7]

Lately, clueless Filipino readers of this page exhibit the same bat **** insane behavior and leave stupid comments in the discussion tab. They bat ****ing insanely lecture the contributors saying that this article needs more work and make it look more like Wikipedia, like making it look positive and not offensive and ****. And then they whine to the point of making themselves bat ****ingly uberinsaningly annoying. Then they add long stupid lists to this page and declare to the whole of Uncyclopedia that they are the funniest bad assed mother****er that ever walked on the face of this miserable planet, as if that will scare the living crap out of the Filipino contributors and revise this whole damn article for them. [Citation not needed, thank you very much]

I know it kind of sucks to read things like that, and absolutely no doubts there are some gross generalizations, but, and like or not, the words are indicative of what some foreigners come to think after spending a few months in this beautiful country. It takes years to assimilate the nuances that make up a culture. Filipinos are easily offended when utterly no offense was ever intended. As an Australian I've found this quite mystifying at times, dangerous at others.

Pinoy culture is different to western culture, very different. It is neither better nor worse, it simply is what it is. You value family, communication, mediation, you are humbled by the elderly and you give their ideas much weight in your decision making process, you have a strong tolerance for situations that a westerner would go postal over. All of these positive attributes are things that we would do well to understand before we set foot in this country. Sometimes people are intentionally ignorant, sometimes they just see the world through their own innocent persona.

Don't take it too seriously, I've seen equally harsh things written about Australians.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say most of these opinions are driven by those that come here 'for your women' rather than to integrate in to society and become Pinoy.

I've been coming here for a decade, and I still feel lonely and out of place at times. I can understand why people might think and say the things within the text you posted, opinions are relative, once you step outside the boundaries of your comfort zone, it's not difficult to grok.

The cute Filipina girlfriend, she is utterly innocent in thinking that to show respect to parents and family, the foreign man would be even more lovable should he shout a hundred close family members to dinner in Tagaytay, or buy a new water pump, or whatever. The foreigner is liable to think this is gold digging. Alas, the culture differences.

It ain't easy. But relax :-) Not all of us think this way.

Actually the title should've been something like "Why Filipinos are discriminated" kind of iliminating the doubt since it's very true. As we go abroad especially to rich countries most of the time to find a greener pasture, naturally they look at us as inferior breed trying hard to blend with them superior minded chauvinistic pricks.... haha pardon me.

I think you missed the point. I'm Australian, Metro Manila is my home, has been for several years now, this country will be my home very probably until the day I die. Feel free to ask me for my opinion any time here though.

To be polite, I'll conjecture that you misunderstood the posted text and assume you've never lived overseas for any longer than a tourist visa would permit, and that you have selective vision. Also that you make stuff up as you go along - most of which is aimed at scratching some notion of patriotic kinship in your fellow countryman/woman simply to elicit a sense of outrage that has no reason or need to exist, let alone any basis in fact.

If you are angry by what the rest of the world might or might not think then ask yourself why they think what they do, and change it.

Again, pardon me if my honest opinion offended somebody here, i respect anyone's comment regarding this matter, though it's really an eye opener to the people i'm refering to (us Filipinos) and contrary to Mr. Classified's assumption, having stayed for more than 10 years overseas i believe i'm entitled to air what i have observed. Truth be told this is happening and we can't deny it, it may not be all the time but for sure it really happens. It applies to all nationalities that there are good & bad individuals and may show discriminating traits to any guest workers sometimes. My point here is the occurence of this very fact (discrimination) and i truly believe that Filipinos abroad are the living witness of this.

Please correct me if i'm wrong. Peace to everyone.

I did correct you because I felt you were inaccurate. Which part of the posted article is not actually true to one extent or another? Why get offended about it? Who is discriminating the Filipino by pointing out common stereotypes that are loosely (and sometimes strongly) based on the generalities of behavioral traits that are prevalent here?

Living in the Philippines I am subject to discrimination in a thousand ways every single day. Some of it is positive, some of it is negative.

Do you have people call you a round eyed white piece of trash just for existing? A bastard son of a bitch for 'stealing' your women? Do you have people stare at you just because of your colour? Do you have total absolute strangers actually touch your hands, your hair, your face, your arms, your legs, just because "it's so white!"? Do you have people drag you to the front of a queue just because you might be offended at having to wait in line like everyone else? Seriously, I could write 2000 pages on various aspects of this country that range from racist, offensive, through to welcoming and charming.

Get a sense of humor already - quit being so highly strung and living life just constantly waiting for the next event to piss you off.

This is your home, it is my home too, but I'll never be able to blend in and go unnoticed like you can. In America or wherever, nobody gives a crap what colour your skin is, what shape your eyes are, what you do or don't do - the same is not true for me here. I'm ok with this, so you'll never hear me complaining. I bet you aren't even aware of this aspect of Pinoy culture. I bet you'll even go so far as to deny it. No matter, I see what I see.

I'm not even remotely offended, I'm just pointing out that it is ludicrous to say you are being discriminated against when you have far more freedom than most people in the world. Why do you think I live here?

Please correct me if i'm wrong. Peace to everyone.

Filipino's are discriminated because of how do some Filipino's act.
Crab mentality is the worst of it that is why we've been discriminated by other nationalities.
What do we expect kahit tayo tayo na nga lang nangdi discriminate na sa isa't isa eh,
MCP is a good example where you can find a lot of discrimination from our fellow FILIPINO/Bikers/Riders.

The crab mentality is well known throughout all cultures, it's not unique to this country. Those who rise above the general population and strive for success in their endeavors usually do so with a thousand arms trying to drag them back down, or a thousand bodies all trying to ride the coattails of others to success.

Ask anyone in the world what they know of the Philippines, most people will say "Where's that?" Some will say "Ahhh, pen pals, mail order brides, sex tours" - who's fault is that though? Is it the rest of the worlds fault? Some of us will respond by saying this country has some of the most breathtaking countryside in the world, friendly people, and an endearing culture.

If you are a good person, you are a good person all over the world. Nationality is not the issue.

I think I understand what you are saying though - I still have a lot to learn.

What I mean is "SOME" Filipinos act so stupid in front of other Nationalities which makes them think that in General, Filipino's are like that. Let me give you an example there's a thread here wherein underbone riders are being discriminated because of how some of the UB riders act so carelessly on the ROAD, China bikes are being discriminated along with the rider because of the bikes brand & the worst of it is that some riders here just can't take it that there is a much better rider than they are & can't just be proud of his fellow Filipino rider :? instead they try to pull him down & try to humiliate the other rider. Sad to say but that is how it is, I just hope that those kind of Filipino mentalities would change.

I guess this thread is having a very good benefit for having someone who could share informative ideas like Mr. Classified. I believe we're having a healthy discussion here. I just hope he doesn't take things very seriously. I also have nothing against the accuracy concerns since no one can be perfectly accurate and there's always something lacking.

I don't take it as a correction it's rather additional info that's been shared, since my only concern is to agree to the mere occurrence of discrimination. Just in case i was misinterpreted because of my funny reaction, I'm not offended at all by the article. Some people can live by it and so can i. We can find contentment and happiness in life without minding what negative things we hear from others. As long as we're not doing miserable things to others then conscience is clear. I respect what anyone has to say for himself on any opinion one might have to convey.

...... If you are a good person, you are a good person all over the world. Nationality is not the issue..
I have to agree on this one brother.. I cannot articulate it any better.. If you are good, you are good no matter where you are, no matter where you came from, or no matter what culture you are interacting with... You dont have to be a Filipino, German, African or American to be a good person... Although Filipinos by nature are shy, inassertive, and sometimes sort of skeptical and quiet, it doesnt mean that good Filipinos are not at par with the rest of the good people of the world.. Filipinos may be different but not difficult .. Some Filipinos can be perceived as lazy, non productive, jobless easy go lucky bum in the streets of Manila, but things will most likely reverse once given a chance to be productive and prove themselves.. Send them abroad and they become instant hardworkers... Give them the challenge and they would respond.. Make them part of the team and they'll be excellent team players.. Given the opportunity, success story will be most likely... :)

I'm very difficult to offend, but I'm also very aware that what I say as a foreigner can be received by the listener or reader as offensive, a little too brash, forward, or disrespectful - I promise I don't intend to be this way, and what I say is said in purely a conversational tone, like we'd do if we were having a beer or something and shooting the breeze.

I'm just a foreigner trying to make friends and have meaningful dialect with everyone I meet.

Yes we Filipinos do love our own, but what is our's tend to cling on us and became norm.
We may become defensive if others see them for what it really is.

Sa Office lang...

Pinoys who wears a sandal and shors are not allowed to enter the building...
Other nationalities they do allow. and this is BS...

It would be really a different point of view if the article is seen in a wider perspective.
It only becomes a big deal when Denial comes in.
you like Karina halili and hayden and the other girl?
the one in denial deprives himself and others deprived her for her actions,

Other countries do have stricter laws, while here, it is strict now, a suggestion later.
In some countries, born of a slave, you'll die a slave. Here it vastly differs, kaya nga
some pinoys even do things above the norm and it became their lifestyles and the succeeding generations ahead of them. Experiencing vast cultures, we may say they are lucky, but Here, what the president/Law says, we have our own versions of veering away from it. While in other countries, if the prime minister says all eat sh!t, they all eat with dignity for the glory of their country.

Why do we see many immigrants here?

As one might see Philipines/pinoys as that posted by TS,
others see the Philippines as a comfy cob.
