BoyG July 27th, 2009, 08:37 PM I doubt if there are any raingear that's not hot.
+ 1 for this product. I also use this and have been caught in several strong, strong thunderstorms up north but these babies did the trick.
Great product.
act2000 July 27th, 2009, 08:51 PM The new yamaha rain gears that are sold in select yamaha dealers are pretty nice as well.
-sturdy pants w/ reflectors at the ankle section
-sturdy zippers -- water proof
-breathers at the side
-Not that hot at all
BoyG July 27th, 2009, 09:07 PM I'm sure the Yamaha rain gear is nice but this is a Givi Raincoat thread.
Avoid thread jacking.

Givi Raincoat :)
edongerz86 July 28th, 2009, 05:30 AM Mejo pricey siya. Also bought one for myself a month ago. Sinamahan ko narin nung slip-on nilang rain boots. Once ko lang silang nagamit but that was a massive downpour. Really saved me from being wet. Great product! :s
Icon July 28th, 2009, 06:55 AM Thankx for the review everyone whos use this. I bought one myself sometime end of last year as a New Year present to myself. Then it was only 1800 petot pa. Up till now, its in the trunk of my Skywave 650 waiting for its inaugural use.
Cant wait to use it this Weekend for my Bagyo este Baguio run... Hehehehe.

BoyG July 28th, 2009, 03:17 PM Just make sure to get a larger size so it fits, kahit loose lang. Make sure you're comfortable. Don't worry too much about how you look hehe.

yeah the best tong givi raincoat na to... laging nasa givi box ko umulan man o umaraw...
It's the best one available in the country today, far better I think sa RS-taichi and Arai rain suits.

win_26 July 30th, 2009, 10:11 PM I recommend this Givi Rain Gear. Its worth the money. 1.5k kuha ko nun sa motoworld moa.
May riding companion anytime, anywhere. The long search for a good rain gear is over.
Hehe
jon _beza July 31st, 2009, 08:04 AM baka yung version 1 yan sir
mistahsuave July 31st, 2009, 08:19 AM ung unang version ng givi raincoat ung blue ung up and down, 900 ata un, nakuha ko at a discounted price
Drifter1025 August 3rd, 2009, 04:22 PM tested it again last night na pinakamalakas na downpour so far

I'm almost sure that this will fit in a UBox (except for those with teeny-weeny ones). I doubt that the lower half will be easy to fit with our shoes on.
pedro21 August 4th, 2009, 06:30 PM thanks sir for the insight...

it will fit with shoes, the pant has wide legs and built in buttons to reduce the circumference of the bottom after putting in you riding shoes or boot

this is true.. i bought 1 pc (ver 2) yesterday and I tested it ASAP... rode to Marilaque before 11am and reached Sierra Madre Resort around 12pm... with the heavy rain and strong winds, water drips infront of my jacket (sa may velcro although minimal naman). nung pauwi na ako, tried to check everything kung properly zipped pati velcro from neck to bottom and again meron pa ding basa sa shirt ko pero konti n lang compared nung paakyat ako. waterproof boots na lang ang kulang. :D
Paul.Garcia August 8th, 2009, 05:10 PM Kakatawag ko lang sa MOA, Trinoma, Greenhills and Fort branches ng MW including their head office at Pasig, out of stock ang Givi Raincoat Version 1 model.
ryan August 8th, 2009, 06:09 PM New GIVI raincoat shipment will arrive around next month.
New version ren ang parating. :)

tuxster August 9th, 2009, 09:04 AM Bought mine from promoto about a month or two ago. Partnered with my XPD H2out shoes, pwedeng-pwede ng sumabak sa rain marathon ride...hehehe :D
Great product. Highly recommended.
