Hows the feeling? :) jeff_o November 12th, 2004, 04:07 PM i remember my first time to wear a full face. ang init. para kang nilelechon. then after mo tanggalin yung helmet unusually cool ang hangin. but then after a few minutes i develop headaches kasi siguro di pa sanay ulo ko sa kulob na helmet. but now siguro nag adjust na yung mga pads sa contour ng ulo ko. mas maayos na. no more headaches. minsan kapag sobrang sikip masakit din sa ulo eh. mhyk3_ph@ November 12th, 2004, 06:53 PM i once had a swollen gum due to a toothache..and my helmet is just right in my normal use..but OUCH!! it hurt when i wore the helmet on..it looks like my head became larger.. Enyong666 November 12th, 2004, 07:30 PM My head looked like an oversized egg! Sikip ng feeling. It took me a while to adjust, not just because it was my first full-face but my first time riding as well. mengski November 14th, 2004, 07:46 AM well sakin napakapangit ng experience, it was my first time to wear a helmet and ride...I still remember that day, got my bike from motortrade, medyo maambon...sabi sakin ng agent madulas ang daan, sabi ko naman OK na, kse sobra kong excited :O :O so umalis nako...piling ko sa helmet para kong kabayo na diretso lang tingin, so mabagal lang takbo..then nagdecide akong magpagasolina, dito na nangyari ang lahat..pag pasok ko sa station, medyo basa ang flooring, diretso ko tapos di ko nakit masyado ang sahig dahil sa fullface helmet ko, yun na dumulas ang rear na gulong , nawala na sa kontrol...  the next thing i know, i was lying on the floor with my bike....siyempre naka helmet parin... :O :O parang ayaw ko nang hubarin ang helmet... :O :O yun pala me natapon palang KRUDO sa flooring   jeff_o November 14th, 2004, 04:14 PM i also remember one time paguwi ko naka full face pa ako. then nagring yung phone... nalimutan ko nakahelmet pa ako nun tapos sinagot ko yung phone.... hello... plak.... sh!t nakahelmet pa pala ako :D grabejud November 16th, 2004, 11:52 AM first time i wore a helmet feels like im inside an aquarium :O ... over conscious and feels like my head trapped inside a bowl..but i got used to it in a couple of days wearing...i cant ride without it anymore... padyak November 16th, 2004, 12:06 PM hehehe, ako kc medyo kinabahan, kasi parang my blindspot na, kung dati s halfface, 5 degrees lng lingon ko, ngayun 15dgrs na. xperience ko kc turning left, cntr line n ko,den lft signalyt, lingon side mirror, clear, so paliko n ako ng my biglang zooomm, humangin n lng... mc ryder my bckride parehas la helmet coming from my left, buti nkapreno ko.. naku po ga hibla n lng ng buhok distanya namin. :O :O thnk God la nadisgrasya. m7zednalfs November 16th, 2004, 04:48 PM one time i sneezed with my visor closed... lumabo bigla ang vision ko! :O :O :O tukayo November 16th, 2004, 04:54 PM What I felt when I first used my full-face helmet? Whoa! I feel good, I knew that I would! hehehehe. Pero katagalan nahahalata ko, mahenit! Hehehe. :O padyak here's a tip: Praktis mo 'Lifesaver' before actually turning (turning your head to look over your shoulder to see who is there). Mirrors have blindspots and the images we see do not give us their true distance and speed, lalo na pag yung mirrors ay convex. Mirror are just 'driving/riding aids' and there is no substitute to seeing what is really happening behind than with our eyes. Always do a lifesaver, the term use speaks for itself. Always do this before you deviate off your line even if it is just a couple feet to the left or right. :) You may feel para kang tanga doing this, pero once you get the hang of it you become more aware of your surrounding, hence smoother riding. Elijah November 16th, 2004, 08:45 PM 1st thing na naramdaman ko parang nasasakal ako ng chin strap, mahigpit pala :D botchix November 17th, 2004, 03:38 AM 1st thing na naramdaman ko parang nasasakal ako ng chin strap, mahigpit pala :D Put two fingers (pointing and rude fingers) between the strap and under your chin. This will ensure perfect fit without the risk of the lid coming off in a spill or being lifted off you head at high speed, it also allows jaw movement so you can cuss the hell out of any idiots on the road. :O padyak November 17th, 2004, 10:25 AM padyak here's a tip: Praktis mo 'Lifesaver' before actually turning (turning your head to look over your shoulder to see who is there). Then I had a motorcycle, had to wear a fullface helmet for the first time, it got so uncomfortable since its like you're deprived of your senses specifically hearing, little on the sight and little neck sore since mountain bike helmet's way lighter compared to a motorcycle fullface helmet. Then came summer ... wow what a hot hot feeling, had to open the face shield. At that time of not being used to it, I am also wearing an eyeglass, I accidentally put on my helmet with my eyeglass on ... ouch! Accidentally removed my helmet with my eyeglass on too ... ouch! :O It took me few days (a week i think:D) of everyday ride to get used to it. Now its like ...... nothing to be uncomfortable about, visual and hearing is like the usual with or without ...... :) Bogchi November 17th, 2004, 12:35 PM ako nung first time kong suot ang full face helmet ko, pinahuhubad ng misis ko para daw akong "ogag", bagong bili ung helmet "nauna kasi bili ng helmet bago motor" masyado kasi akong excited, sa sasakyan "owner type jeepny" palang suotsuot kona ang helmet..... :O :O :O parang F1 brooommmmmmmmmm ekisom November 18th, 2004, 12:50 AM  i'v wanted a bike since the day i saw one, hehehe my goodness. the first motorbike i rode a few days ago.. FZR400RR, not exactly ur usual practice bike, but to hell with buying a 150cc practice bike and eventually buying an actual big bike. an' then i realized my error. riding for the first time on a FZR400RR is like trying to ride a wild horse, hot dang! it scared the sh!t out of me, it took me 100 percent of my focus to avoid crashing, i wasnt even braking! it was harder to turn right for some reason and the helmet, hehehe the helmet was whack! it was fresh from the person i bought if from, smelled like cigarette smoke! still does to this day hehehe  after i took off my helmet on that first ride. pare.. BASANG SISIW, wasnt even hot cuz gabi na =P w00t invictus November 18th, 2004, 02:10 AM Less road and traffic visibility on my part. Face shield even makes the visibility poorer as soon as scratches appear. eric johnson December 29th, 2004, 10:38 AM i got my first fullface helmet for only P600. it actually felt nice but it sure was too big for my head. i could tell coz it won't turn when i look back. solution: bonnet. that worked altho the cheek pads were still loose and didn't make contact with my face. PTL (praise the Lord), i didn't crash while wearing that one. recently, i got a nice fit index fullface lid and had put it to test via a banking crash on a trip to pillila - protected my head very well as i look at the scratches on its side. :) jashcom January 25th, 2005, 07:21 PM Nung first time ko mag full face helmet, parang pinisil yung mga pisngi ko, kaya medyo sumakit din for a day. And when I was to call my wife, I put my cell on my ear, with the helmet on. Sa sobrang lakas ng pag dikit ko ng cell ko sa helmet ko, nabasag yung glass display ng cell ko. But still, walang gasgas yung helmet ko! R-1 January 25th, 2005, 08:09 PM claustrophopic talaga ang first full face helmet experience. And i tried to ride WITHOUT a hemet whenever i could. But now if i ride without a helmet i feel 'naked'! just like forgetting to put your shirt or pants on! ala eh rider January 26th, 2005, 03:48 PM I had ahard time riding my bike when i put on my helmet for the first time. But after a while I got the hang of it and before i knew it i was speeding. I was not aware of my speed because of less air blowing on my face. Plus the sound of the engine was minimized so I thought i was idling low. R-1 January 27th, 2005, 10:54 AM I had ahard time riding my bike when i put on my helmet for the first time. Plus the sound of the engine was minimized so I thought i was idling low. this is what i like about full face helmets, you can go fast comfortably. and when i wear earplugs i can go even faster! iris_kram January 28th, 2005, 04:16 AM I bought my first full face helmet sa SM mega mall..yung mga tinitinda lang sa gitna ng aisle..made in korea daw..when I first wore it..feeling ko lumaki ulo ko...feeling ko lahat ng tao nakatingin sa akin...tapos pag huminga nga lumalabo...nasanay tuloy ako na nakataas yung lens..kasi talagang ang hirap pag nag moist..since it was a cheap helmet di pa yata anti fog yung lens...now I bought an AGV GP1 helmet..nice na sya although sa tingin ko pag tinatanggal ko sya parang pipi na mukha ko..hehehehehe..I always do wear a helmet...sigurista kumbaga... |
