para maiwasan ang amag sa leather wag kaagad iimbak sa cabinet kundi pahanginan muna sa labas (wag direct sunlight) after na ginamit. Tapos spray ng motospray para di mangamoy same with helmet.

If I remember it right ang 50 ml ay 100 pesos lang. Mukha ngang overpirced sila. Try to look sa mga malls. Handyman or Ace Hardware.

Its important that leatherclothes don't dry out. Dry fibres get fragile and break much easier in extreme situations like accidents. To prevent dry outs leather clothes shall be maintained regulary. Then the leather clothes maintain its natural elasticity. (bee wax is good for keeping the gear moist enough and protected) And you should clean the leather clothes with mild soapy water at needs. This are two precautions that prolong the life and strength of your leather clothes.

If the clothes gets wet then air dry it as soon as possible when you get home from your ride. Don't let it be stored when wet, then mold and other nasty stuff appears.

I just happens to come from a country where riding gear of leather or other fabrics are demamded by the law so for once i can actually reply with something use full.

If your helmet starts to smell then let it stay outside for long (make sure it does not get nicked) So the bad smells get aired out and if you don't have inner mesh in your helmet like many of the half helmets or potty helmets sold in Philippines lack then you just wash it with mild soapy water. And I really mean mild.

In worse cases one of my friends who rides motorbike racing in Norway in endurance races he puts some perfume in the helmet during breaks in the race if the smell gets too horrible. I don't recommend this trick but i know it works for short periods and if you put your loved ones perfume in it then you get happier too I guess. Hehe.

perfume is a big no no ... mas lalo magiging grabe ang amoy at worst of all nakakahilo eto pag nag eevaporate na ang amoy delikado sa ride .....
