wasted_23 November 8th, 2004, 10:54 AM meron ata, ung fissan foot powder. haven't tried it pero accdg. to some, ok daw un.
ZAI November 8th, 2004, 11:09 AM Yes bro a foot powder will do(fissan)
but here's what i'm doing ever since... try mixing a spoon full of "tawas" to a "tabo" of water completely disolve the tawas then after a taking a bath use the solution for washing your feet...... you'll feel that your feet aint getting sweaty the whole day...NO SWEAT NO ODOR!!!
hope it helps (my mom tought me this idea)
arobana November 8th, 2004, 12:00 PM MC boots are really hot and heavy if you have to wear them the whole day. Aside from tawas and the foot powder, i suggest you bring an extra pair of a more comfortable shoes for the office. This will help you relax your foot. It is a tendency that we immediately wear our shoes after we shower but it would be best if you see to it that your feet are dry especially between the "fingers". Odor causing bacteria loves wet feet. BTW, never put used socks inside your shoes after removing them, this lets your shoes breath. Hope this one helps a bit.

I use simple Johnsons Baby Powder and it solves the problem. Another thing powder is also good for is putting on your socks and inside your boot. If your boots are a bit hard to get on and off, when powdered they will slide in and out no problem. Same inside gloves to ease them on and off and keep them reasonably dry and sweet-smelling.
Don't want to be too indelicate here but a good dose of powder round the crotch is helpful I find on a long run. It helps prevent soreness from leathers and absorbs sweat from sitting on the seat for long periods.
ManOfSteel November 8th, 2004, 02:01 PM i saw one n d commercial about a kiwi brand that keeps odor away from ur shoes and smells freash too acordingly....but thats for the shoes but it may help odor on your feet i guess.....since sweat from the feet stick to ur socks and to ur shoes emitting bad odor atleast it will let ur feet smell fresh when u take of ur shoes n d smell will stick in ur socks also......dats accoriding to the comm...havent tried it though...

Elijah November 8th, 2004, 03:01 PM Thanks for the suggestions, I'll go look for those powders
Hardliner November 8th, 2004, 04:15 PM milcu and fissan foot powder is good but never spray your shoes with any scented spray, you'll regret it.
Wolver888 November 9th, 2004, 12:59 AM I put rubbing alcohol before wearing the socks and shoes, bacteria present on the palm and between toes are washed. Scent from alcohol helps too. But if this doesn't help, foot powder is the best.
froilanr November 9th, 2004, 10:06 AM hehehe. Try to buy a foot powder from Avon. I'm using this product. I'm satisfied to this product.

Elijah November 9th, 2004, 09:25 PM bought one na! Peppermint Foot Powder from Watsons, will try it out tomorrow. Who wants to be the first to test how effective it is? :D :O
wrong wolf November 10th, 2004, 03:55 PM peppermint foot powder? nasubukan ko na rin yan! masarap sa paa. malamig-lamig! :O okay naman yan. mas nagustuhan ko lang talaga yung current na gamit ko.
raj November 29th, 2004, 02:33 PM Just buy any baby pwder and mix a little baking soda in it, It's cheap and best and it will almost cure ur odor probs in no time. I tried it myself, and it works wonders.
Doglegdon January 20th, 2005, 08:49 PM Rather than buy highly priced powders, try a small pack of cornstarch from the supermarket. Liberally sprinked in boots, socks and footsies prior to going out should help, also great for nappy rash, thigh chaffing and crutch rot :D , soaks up the moisture a treat!!
