SKYGO Racing April 24th, 2003, 07:12 PM This 2003 Shell Superscooter Champioship series offers a new category. The 50cc Expert class.
Contenders of this new category are:
1.Gerry Quinones
2.Jaime Barcial
3.Ivan Santiago
4.Carlo Yalo
5.Mark Chua
6.Jolet Jao
There are other novice riders who are determined to compete in this category.For them, it's a perfect training ground.Imagine banging elbows and knees against the veteran scooter riders.

Sa akin alat din....Bumigay yung piston pin bearing naman. kumaskas sa piston pin kaya mild seize yung piston. Pero pinatakbo pa rin. Pinalitan lang namin yung piston pin bearing at pin even experiencing mild seize, tinapos na lang yung race para may points ng konti.
Anyway, panapanahon lang yan! Next ulit, malay mo swertehen! Tikas ng ZIP, ganda pa ng kulay...

You bet badtrip ako nung last Sunday. Patong patong ang kapalpakan. Si ivan, kulang sa practice. Akala ba nya, okay na yung once or twice na practice before the race??? Kulang yun. Pati yung 50cc nya. Kulang sa testing. Dapat palakasin nya yun kundi ipapa-iwan ko yun sa bahay sa Aug.3. Sayang lang entry fee at gasolina. Testing should be done during practice sessions. Or better yet, there should be a TESTING SESSION. It should not be done during RACE DAY.

ricci August 4th, 2003, 01:59 PM :angry: ....there was also an incident that one rider (the cheating kind) in this class tried hard to make their teamate displace the rider from skygo (ivan santiago-running third in the first heat) hoping to get all the top 3 podium finishes for their team and thereby doing so almost created an unnecessary accident. you will see in the couple of pictures here.
ricci August 4th, 2003, 02:09 PM :angry: ....as you can see in the previous photo #33 was blocking the way and waiting for #45 to cut inside but as you can see in the next pic #45 was farther away than the #33 had expected (he even applied the brakes to block off #1 from taking a good racing line thus almost making both #1 and himself, #33 to crash)...another one of those 370HSSV rider who thinks he's the best.:I

this same 370HSSV didn't fare well in the open expert class but was farewelled later for an infraction. see the other thread (2003 shell...) for the details.

SKYGO Racing August 4th, 2003, 08:29 PM Ok mga pictures mo pareng ricci. Please have it developed para ipakita natin sa Rider's briefing sa Sept.28. Galing pre. Super DIRTY talaga yan si Hymen Barcial. Yun sobrang kahanginan nya ay pumasok na na ulo nya kaya lumaki tuloy ulo nya. I caught his actions on video. Kaw naman you caught it sa pictures.
Imagine this guy. In the 1st heat of the 50cc open expert ay leading si Hymen,2nd si G.Victorino, 3rd si Ivan Santiago and 4th yung si Danilo Barcial(uncle of Hymen). Nakita nga ni Hymen yung uncle nya at gusto nya maka 3rd si Danilo. Eh obviousely na mas malakas ang scooter ni Danilo Barcial compared to Ivan's. So ang ginawa ni Hymen ay he let George Victorino pass and waited for Ivan. Ayun. Inipit at hinarang harang nga nya si Ivan. GRABE talaga yan si Hymen Barcial. Sana ay pumayat-payat na ako para sasali na rin ako sa Expert Open at Expert 50cc.Ganun pala ang gusto nyang laro eh. Kung gusto nya ng banggaan ay PWEDE rin ako.:angry:
Anyway, right after that 1st heat, I reported the incident to the Race boss Elson Carpio. Elson then called Hymen Barcial to the VIP Lounge and made him explain his UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT. He apologized to Elson but not to Ivan. Ok lang yun. If he does that again, expect me to join the next race. If he wants banggaan, papakitaan ko sya ng tunay na BANGGAAN.:angry: :angry: :angry: Di bale nalang tawagin din akong hinde sports.
