View Full Version : Racing boots...

Suzuki Rider April 25th, 2009, 12:48 AM Racing Boots are designed to be very stiff and matigas lalo na sa ankle area.
Normal lang na mahirap i-lakad ang mga ito dahil they are not designed for walking. The boots will force you to walk awkward dahil nili-limit nito ang movement ng iyong mga paa.
It's how they are made para kung sumemplang ka (lalo na during racing) it will hold your feet (ankle area) really tight to avoid and/or minimize serious injury.
Meron din namang pang touring style boots.
Check out these brands as well.

kung gagamitin mo as daily commute at ipasuk sa ofis, go for the touring kind... as stated in the post below..
otherwise, do what i do, keep an extra pair of ordinary shoes sa ofis..

@ D' Virus

Ride safe to all.

i have an Exustar SBR-200...just like what you've posted...
PROS:
> these are great value for your money..if you're after protection and not serious racing.
> you can feel the air flowing inside...ok ang ventilation
> di pwedeng pang office...takaw pansin because of the color
dagdag ko na rin...if you want something that offers the same protection pero medyo low profile ang dating...you can get Touring Boots...they usually come in All-black color kaya, pwede na ring pang office...he he he
BTW, check the classifieds...may post si ssciwarr...very good offer pa...

All these brands are good. You can also consider Dainese Torque (for something the Rossi actually uses, this is priced very reasonably) and Puma race boots, they've been getting rave reviews lately.
AFAIK Oxtar and TCX are the same brands, change name lang because of a legal issue with another bike gear company.
Brynd15 April 29th, 2009, 09:42 AM experience ko sa sbr200 ko....
pinag titinginan ako sa stoplight with matching riding pants kasi eh....
im using it for short and long rides pati sa mga trackday sa boomland....
salamat ng marami....ridesafe to all

mahal nga road race boots lalo na kung high end pero what if you break your ankle when you crash? i'll bet mas malaki ang babayaran mo sa hospital bills at medicines kesa sa price ng high end race boots.
