Most important rights of all time. This goes to all riders (scooter to motorcycle):
"You have the right to live." - this means you can ride your scooter or motorcycle without intentionally sacrificing your life span. In order to enjoy or avail of this right, simply wear your protective gears such as a helmet for a start (and dont give me that overgrown excuse that you cant afford a helmet, nakabili ka nga ng motor eh)
"You have the right to remain silent." - this can be explained in two ways. Firstly, when exercising your right to live, then you happen to see a fellow biker/rider who is intentionally sacrificing his life span by committing suicide at 100kph (or more) without any protective gears...... dont compare yourself to others. You can exert your right to remain silent para di tumaas BP mo. Kasi maraming ganyan. (Its a fact: "People know its not safe to ride a motorcycle or a scooter without a helmet and amazingly, they choose to ignore it.") So why bother? just enjoy your life and exercise your right to remain silent. Lalo na kung di mo naman kaanu-ano yung nagmomotor na walang hemet.
Secondly, if you have the right to live, you also have the right to remain silent if you choose to. That is, silent as a non living thing. You can waive your vital signs anytime. Its called free will. In fact, I do believe there are only two kinds of riders in this world. Those who want to exercise their right to live.... and those who exercise their right to remain silent.
Your choice. Its the blue pill or the red pill. he he he...
