View Full Version : dont mock GOD or else-untimely deaths
genezide13 February 25th, 2009, 12:23 PM DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS?
I SURE DIDNT TILL NOW
Death is certain but the Bible speaks
about untimely death!
Make a personal reflection about this.....
Very interesting, read until the end.....
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):
'Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man sow,
that shall he also reap.
Here are some men and women who mocked God :
John Lennon (Singer):
Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:
'Christianity will end, it will disappear..I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966).
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ,
was shot six times.
Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party,
not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer,
singer and poet):
During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ),while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you.'He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.
The man who built the Titanic
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said:
'Not even God can sink it'
The result:I think you all know what happened to the Titanic
Marilyn Monroe (Actress)
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:
'I don't need your Jesus'.
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment
Bon Scott (Singer)
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by
his own vomit.
Campinas (IN 2005)
In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.....The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of
her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:
'My Daughter, Go With God
And May He Protect You.'
She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here......
It's Already Full '
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident,
everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact..
The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)
said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.
In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.
Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.
just hit thanks if you like it.. :D
Jopay22-ZX130 February 25th, 2009, 12:33 PM Whew.. Sobrang kinikilabutan ako..
Lalo na dun sa Mother and Daughter Scenario..
ninjablue February 27th, 2009, 08:54 AM kaka pangilabot nga... something to think about talaga.
may tanong lang po ako, yung iba tao on this list they talked (mocked)about jesus, some simply said god (which i think depende yun sa relihiyon), may konektion kaya yun somehow? and lastly, is there such thing as timely/untimely death anyway?
FYI:
john lennon was shot on dec. 8, 1980 - a bit far from 1966 kung kelan nya sinabi yung sinabi nya.
bon scott died feb, 1980. the first recording of highway to hell was jan. 1979. and it was written sometime in 78.
it may not mean anything but, just want to point that out
thanks

tymon_1009 February 28th, 2009, 10:08 PM God is a very loving God. He created us because He loves us. He even gave His only son to die for us. Even If we mock Him, He still loves us. Jesus was mocked, scourged, crowned with thorns, nailed on the cross and pierced His heart because of His love for us, He saved us from our sins. God knows that Jesus will be mocked. God is love and He will not take our lives just because of mocking Him. The deaths of these people are already written in God's book. We have our own time to die even If we sin so much, people are given a chance to repent and go back to God just as He did to me. In the Old Testament, God gave so many chances to the people who were mocking Noah before He made the big flood, He also gave so many chances to the people of Sodom & Gomora before He destroyed it and in the New Testament, He will send Jesus again as our chance before He destroys the world in the book of Revelation. That's how God loves us. He gives us so many chances. All we need to do is to accept Him and do His will and you will never fear death. Why fear death if you know that your destination will be with God in heaven? Think about it. They have their own reason why they mocked God because they don't know what they are doing. Do you know God loves John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Tancredo Neves, Christine Hewitt and all mentioned above? Why? Because Jesus loves the sinner more than the righteous, di ba? And do you know that we also mock & reject God everytime we do sin? So lets not sin instead for us not to mock God. God bless you all and thanks for bringing up this matter. Have a blessed day brothers.
cyberfunk March 1st, 2009, 04:22 AM You mean God will actually kill you and suffer a painful death if you committed blasphemy?
tymon_1009 March 1st, 2009, 06:09 AM You mean God will actually kill you and suffer a painful death if you committed blasphemy?
No, He won't. The deaths of these people are merely coincidence and has nothing to do with God. All of the people mentioned above are God's creation like us. They are people that God created out of His love. Why will God kill them if He loves them? He even gave His only son to die for them di ba?

I would certainly like to believe that.. Then the post above would be considered taking Gods name in vain? But is there such thing as coincidental in Gods eye since everything is about his divine will?

In God's book, there is no such word but in our lives, there is. Sometimes people blame God for things that's happening in their lives. Like with Marilyn Monroe and John Lennon, etc. With Marilyn, she was found dead in her apartment with an unknown substance found in her body according autopsy reports and with John, he may have developed an envy or anger with his during those days because of that "hippi" era. Let's not put the blame to God just because the personalities mentioned were famous people. We are actually mocking God in our lives and rejecting Him when we sin but still, He is there loving us and supporting our needs. That's how He loves us. No matter how bad we are, He is there loving us.
Let me share you a story. Paquito, a Filipino had a sister who married an American soldier named Scott. When Scott and Paquito's sister visited the Philippines, they stayed in Paquito's house instead of going into a hotel. One day, when Paquito was cleaning the room where Scott and his sister where staying, he found Scott's Victorinox Swiss watch is in the garbage basket. He picked it and looked for Scott. When he saw Scott, he gave the watch back but Scott told Paquito that its broken already that's why he threw it already. But he told Paquito that if Paquito can fix it, he can keep it. So Paquito tried to fix it. With a matching shaking of the hands and a prayer, the watch worked again. What does this mean? God is like Paquito. If we are broken of sins, God will not just throw us. He will pick us up and repair us because we still have the chance to work again. With other people, its their destiny to die young because they have finished their mission here already. God is a God of chances. He is a loving, compassionate & just God. We just have to open our hearts and let Him in. If you have Him in your heart, death will be a beginning of the next life with Him eternally and not something to be scared of.

joeXRM April 2nd, 2009, 11:20 PM thank you for the info, creeps me out in a lot of ways but it doesnt shake my faith or change my belief in him.
tymon thank you for sharing with us your insights. As most of us are too busy living the hard life, we tend to see past Jesus Christ in favor of worldly gratifications. The rich, the powerful and the famous should always remember that it is God almighty that directs them in every step of the way. We are born sinners and should never forget to thank him and ask forgiveness. Even I, have done so much in the past and the cost is more than I can pay. And at times I purposely miss my sunday obligations in favor of material things. Lord, please teach me to remember what is most important in life, please teach me to be humble, you are the most sacred and highest of all. Good day mga bros
IronWolf April 3rd, 2009, 02:29 PM I'm an Agnostic. :D
Does this mean... I'm gonna die... untimely?
When Rico Yan died.... it was untimely. But he is a God fearing man.
So when a non-believer dies untimely... its because he mocked or do not believe in god at all.
But when a believer dies untimely... its because God wanted him/her so much that he took him from this cruel world.
Henceforth... good or bad... believer or non-believer... everybody will die... untimely.

ahihihi.. :D apologies brother. Alam mo naman kung bakit naging agnostic ang isang tao. Dahil puro kami searching. we have questions in our hearts that are needed to be quenched.
I always look for threads like these not only in MCP. Trying to find answers.... and God topic is always a serious matter. ;)
d'virus April 3rd, 2009, 08:10 PM no offense TS;
i am with sir IronWolf on this one...
i hate it when religion is used to manipulate people...
there are loads of article like this...
panu naman ma explain yung mga masasamang tao na walang kasinsama pero lead a long and peaceful life?
si Hitler??
Mao Zedong???
ang mga responsable sa death in concentration camps???
panu naman ma explain ang mga horrible things that happens to the innocent ones??
such as a 4 yr old cute and bubbly child Sophie Delezio who has been hit by a car not once but twice?
and my personal experience: my grandma, who devoted her whole life sa simbahan, goes to church twice a day, then suffered a heart attack and had half her body paralyzed for 20 odd years??? (she didnt complain, nor blame her God; not once)
i have nothing against religion, any religion. it is when somebody tries to use it to be feared and for their own greed that gets me..
Note: this rant is about the article, i am not pointing fingers at anyone..

i dont want to start an argument brother, but regardless of our own interpretations of "masama", "mapanlinlang" and the like, "bad" people have their own life sequences as orchestrated by God. Sure Hitler was responsible for the death of millions back in the day, and the world hates him for that, but what about the people who looked up to him as a hero? if Hitler were Filipino, we could've been one of the most powerful nations during the WWII era. We would rather have idolized him instead. Mao Tse Tsung was a visionary of his time, leading his people towards victory under the communist/socialist movement, and in a way helped China's transition towards an Economic superpower as it is today.
In short, we cant contest God's decision in our lives. One bad thing may lead to a good thing, one good thing can lead to a bad thing. What matters most is that we stay on course and do what God requires us to do. People may hate us for that, but remember that Jesus lived in a time where most of the kingdoms of the world persecuted him for the goal of saving man from sin. i hope brother, that we'll learn to do the same.

murder is a bad thing, theres no denying that. you are free to choose which side of the fence you're in. What im pointing out is that even though the world despises you, even though you are the most evil person in the world, God will still accept you. Thats just a fact my brother, i hope you won't shove your agnostic ideals on me now.
Him leading from his comfortable palace...
i hate to break it to you buddy, but mao came from the ranks of the peasants and farmers.
the reason why i say article of the sort are a bunch of bullcrap..
we're entitled to our opinions. i personally dont believe that God would put down a smite on someone who used his name in vain. I think what made the article below more convincing is the fact that all of them are celebrities. simple as that. actors and actresses appear on media more often than any of us ever will.

no problem bro.. i am liking what i read on this thread now.. the opinions are getting hotter and more informative regarding hitler, mao etc etc..

i agree with you fully on this...
people who authored those articles just pick the ones that suits their ideas best..
conveniently avoiding mentioning yung mga wala namang sala that went through a horrible state sa buhay.... (example ang mga musmos na namamatay sa gutom sa africa)
abd those na halang ang kaluluwa na namumuhay ng masagana...(white slavery, drug lords etc...)
thing is i just hate people forcing down "religion" down someones throat...
