ahhhhmmm... kung may budget ka sir na pang hjc, hjc ka nalang....

pero for both brands, zeus siguro ko... medyo maliit yung fitting ng spyder, at balita ko spyder is the same maker of index helms...

Last January ito din po problema ko.

I wanted to buy a Spyder Enduro, kaso after reading some negative feedbacks about it. I decided to buy the Zeus zs-805. I am very satisfied. Lovin' It. Lots of good feedbacks, mura na din. :D

Zeus is better than spyder my friend spyder modular helmet loosen its modular lock yata tawag don bumaba mag isa wala pang 2months.

i had owned a Zeus 508W and currently own a Spyder Rebel Helmet...both of which are modular helmets...between the two, i prefer the Spyder..mas magaan and less noisier compared sa Zeus...

as far as the quality is concerned, pareho lang sila...advantage ng spyder...dual visor pa...

i use it for everyday riding, but use my HJC CL15 for Long rides...

merang bang helmet na parang kay eye shield 21.. parang ganun kasi gusto .. para di gaanong mabigat at malaki tignan.. cool pa:banana::banana:

Ive personally fitted the Half Face versions of both brand. The Zeus feels more solid, fit & secure on my head. Alhough i do fancy the Motard Helmets designs of Spyder which i have not yet tried or seen with Zeus if they have it...

Complaints, well, you cant satisfy everyone.... =b

Between the 2 brands...I will go for Zeus. It fitted well and durable.

same dilemma w/ me, kun zeus or spyder. i was lookin for a good "motard" style helmet. try ko yun 2001b ata yun na zeus sa motoworld trinoma. ang ganda sana kaso ang laki ng shell. kahet mag downsize ka same pa rin yun shell size, padding lang nagbago, nagmuka akong "mascot". so nagtry naman ako ng spyder sa caloocan. ok naman sya, kaso ang sizing nila is one size smaller sa regular sizing. medium kasi ako sa lahat ng naging helmet ko. nag try ako ng medium, ubod ng sikip. 3-5min ko plang suot uminit agad yun tenga ko at temples. so i went for a larger size, w/c fitted better. i got it for 3.5k sa cyclemar caloocan. yun zeus is 4.5k sa trinoma. mas aggressive kasi shape nun sa spyder kaya yun ang kinuha ko, yun sa zeus naman mejo round ang shell. anyway, sa "motard" style lang naman ang pinag pilian ko. kayo na po magdecide regarding sa ibang model ng zeus at spyder helmets.....

If you compare the 508w with the enduro flip up of spyder then definitely zeus has the upper hand. But if you compare the 508w with the epic flip up of spyder then I would have the say the epic feels more secure and the visor is not as close to the face compared to the 508w.
I think the better comparison is the epic and the 508w since both are priced the same -- around 3000 pesos. the enduro is only 1995 petot which I understand from spyder they positioned against the GDR flip up helmets.

Both helmets are very good. One model to one brand maybe better than the other model and vice versa.

i have 2 spyder enduro b4.ok nman sya pero mdling masira yung leather sa batok.gasgasin din yng ilalim kc plastic kya benta ko at bumili ako ng zeus 508w.very satisfied ako ngyn.yung enduro my kabigatan at sobra bulky.go for zeus

Same prob na experience ko dito sa Spyder helmet ko..Pero nagawan ko paraaan,dapat yung flat yung frmae papuntang tenga na sunglass ang gamitin para mafit sya sa loob ng helmet..Kaya nga napilitan akong ibenta yung OAKLEY sunglass ko dahil diko magamit sa helmet ko,yung Piloy Eye glasses gamit ko now.So far ok xa sa Spyder helmet ko..Ang prob lang na na-encounter ko d2 sa Helmet na eto..Sobrang laki para sa ulo ko pero masikip sya sa loob at npakabigat ngalay leeg ko lalo na sa long rides.

na alala ku nung nagsusukat ako ng mga spyder, ang kakapal ng foam kaya naiipit masyado mukha ko..

Eh ano ba yung brand ng nasubukan mong helmet? Share naman.dami ko nang nasubukan na brand. from china na substandard helmets, zeus, caberg, hjc, agv, arai, ogk, china na generic quality helmet, fake hjc.
favorite ko dati ay yung zeus modular kasi puede ako mag yosi kahit suot ko helmet. kaso nung nakapag try na ako ng ibang helmet, na realize ko na dikit na dikit ang nguso ko sa chin bar. pag humahataw ka sa nlex, dumidikit ang helmet sa mukha mo. isa pa, mainit kaya basang basa sa pawis ang pads sa tuwing gagamitin ko sa byahe.
yung caberg, ok sya. kaso lumang model kasi yun. napakabigat sa ulo. nagustuhan ko lang kasi double visor sya. isa pang ayaw ko sa kanya is parang napaka laki ng ulo ko sa caberg.
hjc, ok sya. nothing spectacular.
agv, magaan kasi carbon fiber. pero i didn't think the money i spent on it was worth it.
arai, ok lang. sobrang mahal nga lang. I would like to think na since 5-6x more expensive sya kaysa ibang helmets, dapat 5-6x din ang advantage nya over the regular helmets. IMHO, parehas lang naman. the only difference is marami lang pumapansin sa helmet ko.
OGK, parang malambot ang outer shell nya. kaya di ko ginamit. binenta ko nalang uli. sabi ng ogk, malambot daw ang shell para mas maaabsorb daw ang g-force kung sakaling may impact. mas safe ang brain natin. pero di pa rin ako kumpante sa ogk kaya binente ko kahit hulugan 1 year to pay.:O
china generic helmet. ok sya. bigay lang sa akin ng isang helmet manufacturer sa china as sample. puede ko raw ipalagay ang gusto kong tatak. pasado daw sa ece at gb811 standards. magaan sya, good ventilation. 2x akong naaksidente kung saan napuruhan ang helmet. di nabasag ang lens.totoong shatter proof nga. up to now buhay pa rin ang helmet na yan. nagustuhan ko kasi sulit. pag napagawi ako ng china, bibili ako uli nito. mag iistock na ako sa bahay.
fake hjc motocross helmet. feeling pag nag raride ay parang naka half face helmet lang ako. preskong presko. mukhang matibay naman. the padding is good. yung density ng styrofoam is ok. ito ginagamit ko ngayon. I'm happy with it.

experience ko lang naman ito. hindi parepareho ang size and shape ng mga ulo natin. hindi rin parepareho ang hinahanap natin sa helmets. kanya kanyang hiyang lang naman yan. dosen't have to be expensive. it dosen't follow na kung mas mahal ang helmet, mas maganda ang protection nya.

get the helmet na pinaka fit sa shape ng ulo mo. for the features na gusto mo. hindi porke't hjc, lahat ng hjc pare pareho na. same with all the other brands. bawat model may kanya kanyang features.

bottom line is. kung saan ka masaya, dun ka. if you feel good about your helmet then that is the best helmet for you.

ok mukhang marami ang nag su-suggest ng ZEUS. tanong ko saan ba maganda bumili ng Zeus yun may dsicount?

check mo motoworld sa SM MOA sa may south wing yata sila.. 2k plus lang.. on sale kasi.. i would recommend zeus as well.. since id been using it for quite sometime na.. :D

Spyder for me, just bought one yesterday at OZRazing Makati. I like their deisigns, affordable helmets that has met ece 22 and who knows I might with a CBR600RR on thier promo.

kung medyo stiff ang budget go for zeus or spyder, kung meron naman extra , madami dyan na mga branded (arai, agv, shark, nolan, shoei, etc) ang importante gumagamit tayo ng protection sa ULO :):)

Never tried Spyder but Zeus saved my life when I crashed face first. buong buo pa rin visor although madaming gasgas siyempre.

I agree. Based on experience, okay talaga ang enduro helmet ng spyder. And by the way, I own both Spyder and Zeus Helmet.:)
