Good day to all the motorcycle enthusiast here. One of my goals this year is to become a rider. Hence im researching and learning stuff about motorcycles. I read that best thing to invest in is protection. I've seen a lot of brands in the classified ads section. i would like to know your top 5 brands when it comes to protection and affordability. This would be my guide in purchasing my equipment.

IMHO the most essential (at minimum to wear on a ride, malayu o malapit man):

1. Helmet (any basta certified standard)..cheap once would protect you pareha ng mamahalin, yun nga lang, mas comportable, magaan at mas maganda ang graphics ng hi-ends

2. Padded/Armoured Jacket....
mesh lang mainit ang leather, mahal pa..
mas maraming pogi points nga lang...:D

3. leather gloves,
double stitched at me palm & knuckle protection

4. Riding Boots......
pero pwede na rin ang closed shoes,
mostly yung walang laces para nothing wud get caught sa mga moving parts...

now, marami siguro mag sasabi na overkill yan,
pero decent gears wud cost as much as some mods....
and who knows it might save your skin ip not your life, if da worse is to happen...

Iba iba kasi pwedeng pagpilian eh, depende parin lahat yan sa budget mo sir.

Pag Low Budget, di din ibig sabihin na inferior sila. Actually very effective ito Sir. Remember, kahit gaano pa kakapal pads mo sa katawan mo, kung stupid/reckless driver ka naman, it will only give you 2 results, Excruciating Pain or worst DEATH!

Aside from Gears, concentrate on your driving skills.

Zeus helmet (3k to 6k)
Pole position body armour (4k+)
Pole position Advance knee/sheen guard (1k+)
Pro Biker gloves (900 below)
Boots?

Punta ka sa motoworld sa moa, pag may sale, sigurado swak ang 14k mo kasama na boots. :)
