im planning to buy one kasi... kaya lang nabasa ko issues nito sa kabilang thread

ang sabi napagkasunduan daw na wag gamitin ang helmet pag naulan and iba ang condition ng climate dito sa pinas

para kasing sobra naman ito considering na medyo mataas ang price ng helmet ng caberg

paano kung nag baguio ka and along the way inabot ka ng ulan.... sa sobrang takot mo na mag peel ang coating sa visor. nag mamadali kang tumabi di lang dahil sa mababasa ka... kundi dahil sa masisira ang visor ng helmet kasi mag peel ito

sa mga naka caberg helmet or sa mga nakaranas na ng ganitong problema?

sa mga may kaibigan na taga motoworld... wag sana maging biase ang feedback...wag rin sana gawing maganda ang after sales support kasi 6 months lang ang warranty na binibigay nila

paano kung binili mo ang helmet ng january and more or less eh walang ulan hanggang june... meaning malapit na agad mag expire ang warranty ng helmet.... kung common issues to sana life time ang visor warranty hanggang di nila ito na re resolved

been using my caberg justissimo for nearly 4 years. ulanin at arawin pero di naman nag-peel ung coating sa lens. nga lang, medyo nag brownish sya. pero di naman lumabo. ung caberg trip ko naman, mag 2 years na. same pa din naman.

may nabasa kasi akong feedback or issues regarding sa visor nila don sa ads ng caberg na post ni ryan...

nag try naman ako mag post doon pero naka filter ata, di ata pwede mag post doon

anyway, yung mga naka experience ng problem or issues doon sa visor nila nag pi-peel

Hi! Just like to clarify about visors.

In Europe, helmets are required to have antifog visors and antifog visors have a lifespan. Normally, it shouldn't trouble you during the lifespan of your helmet. But sometimes, antifog coating will wear off earlier and there's no way to know if its a problem one unless you are using the helmet. This is common with all helmet brands that are sold in Europe, whether low or high end.

That's why we are offering limited warranties for helmets up to 6 months. But that does not include wear and tear.

Yung Caberg Chrono ko sa unang visor nag ka issue after 1 month of purchase last year, pero napalitan naman free of charge. Yung replacement clear visor never had any problems even used during heavy rain and very hot conditions. Very Happy with the Helmet.

Wala namang problem sa Visor ko small scratches, pero may kaunti lang naman

nakagamit nako dati ng rhyno... no major issues dito... my only concern back then was medyo poor ventilation and pag flip up na, medyo limited lang di tulad ng zeus 3000 ko noon na mas mataas pag naka flip up... pasintabi sa mga rhyno users ha? IMHO lang po hehehe

another issue is the prize hehehe pero ako kasi dati gustong gusto ko kaya kahit new prize na siya (8,800 dating 7,800) binili ko parin ok ok hehehe poging pogi :clap: pati yung isang chick sa daan kahit may bf na eh nakatingin parin sakin at pinipilit silipin yung mata ko.. eh naka baba yung inner visor ko hehehe

if your on a budget, i suggest yung new zeus 3000 na may inner visor no problem sa replacement visor at mas mura pa!

ako ri mga bros.iningat ingatan ko pa naman rhyno ko. nang minsan gamitin ko , nabigla ako napeel yong film ng visor.hinugasan ko pero may mga scratch na. sayang pinagbili ko.sana may mabii replacement.

yes this is true...talo pa ng zeus ko sa rain..nasa lucena nga ako eh..nakataas yung visos kase wala na ako makita..teka bakit ba nage-stay yung tubig dun..as in basang basa sya..anghang tuloy ng mata ko nun hehehe..anyway, love ko pa din ang rhyno ko huhuhu.:banana:

nag pa plano lang ako bumili ng caberg kasi nakita ko parang maganda itsura... pero nakaka dismaya kasi kung

main reason why we purchase good helmet is because

1. durability
2. quality

durability- visor issue - kasi pag nabasa mag kaliskis yung visor
quality - visor issue - importante to kasi eto nakatakip sa mata natin. diba? bakit nag kaka lisikis pag nabasa ng ulan?

helmet na bawal mabasa ng ulan?
na kung nag momotor ka, bigla kang inabot ng ulan, dahil sa takot mong mabasa ang helmet mo sa pag tabi eh nabangga ka ng bus
patay kang bata ka

i don't suppose you can consider a problem with the visor/faceshield as a minor issue...

what you see through it will make a lot of difference how you ride your bike out there...specially if it rains...

Just like to help clarify some issues posted here...

About possible visor issues, according to manufacturers, this may happen to ALL helmet brands that come with anti-fog visor no matter how expensive it is but it doesn't mean it will happen to all helmets. Honestly speaking, we've sold many helmets with anti-fog visors and return rate has been very very small. Of course, the advantages of a visor especially from a high end helmet is that it has high optical grade for extra clarity and you also get anti-fog protection.

The thing is, if ever the anti-fog visor came from a bad batch, problem only appears once a helmet has been used for a few weeks that's why we are giving a 6-months limited warranty against possible defects. If you think you may have a problem visor from a helmet bought from Motoworld stores or authorized Caberg/Shark dealers, please bring your helmet and we will exchange your visor for free. And of course visor issue is not a small issue and we will do our best to help you.

For maintenance, please use only water or very mild soapy water to clean your visors to protect your anti-fog treatment. I personally use a Caberg Rhyno as my main helmet and with proper care, I have no problems at all even after over a year.

Also, I just like to add that anti-fog visors have a lifespan just like any product. Its not easy to say how long but its like wearing rubber shoes. If you wear it everyday, within a year, pudpud na yung soles. But if not, it may last for a few years.

nagkakaroon lang siguro ng problema ang mga visor lalo na yung mga may anti-fog coating pag hindi iniingatan at hindi pinupunasan after gamitin. lalo na yung after long rides or after mabasa ng ulan.

this is what i dont understand the manufacturer already admitted that there are bad batch, what if the replacement that you had also came from the bad batch? if there are bad batch, there should be a lifetime warranty for the visor?

well we are not asking too much since this is a manufacturing defect. and of course the warranty will cover only the peeling issue and not any other issues on the visor...

or this is the reason why caberg is not being sold in the states because of a possible lawsuit? since the manufacturer already admitted that it is a manufacturing defect and yet stores can only give 6 months replacement?

or if this helmet is specially for european, then before they sell it here, they should have removed the anti fog or rather this should be just an option and you should provide a warning to buyers that this is the case right?

The term helmet is a safety equipment design to protect us on any kind of head inpact.
It is a little bit expensive but what you are paying is the general safety of your head or life, if this item got a rusty locks or scartch visor or any depects due to riders use i will still go for it because i got this nasty spill hitting my head hard on the pavement but that rusty lock which i failed to clean and that visor coating which at times is just my neglect for not putting on the supplied cover saved my dear life, mind you guys every body that saw me fal,they say l if i am without the kind of helmet, i may not be online today looking for a replacement visor that does not even break, only scraches on that day.

Carberg Helmet is without any doubt one of the best at her modest price around.

it is good to know that caberg did save you on the said accident... however the helmet is not in question here but the quality of the visor that is part of the helmet, unless you can buy caberg helmet without the visor.

this is not a neglection on the consumers part. but it is a neglection on the manufacturer's part. but is it really manufacturer's defect? you might say that this is suitable for european's country and that is why the visor peels, then why sell it here?

well anyway... i havent bought caberg helmet yet. but just in case, i hope motoworld will not just give 6 months warranty or else they will hear from my DTI friends... heheheh

no need na brad nakausap ko na si boss ryan regarding this..but to lessen the hassle i decided to sell the lid na lang...kasi i need to bring the lid sa manila store for them to check it out...ok na yung madissapoint ako sa caberg...lesson learned..

How long have you been using your Caberg helmet sir?

Pinagkakabahan ako sa mga posts re this brand dahil yung Caberg V2r na pinabili ko sa isang friend in London ko ay practically brand new pa, once pa lang nagamit during our ride to Dinggalan.

Baka hindi masulit, but wait and observe na lang.

This is one thing i admire with Motoworld...Aftersales Service....Keep it up Sir Ryan!
