I have the version IV (RX7 Matsudo Cobra) looks like nothing much have changed except for the little spolier on top and more expensive.

Just like what the webbike world review said

" So here's my bottom line: If I had to own only a single helmet, it would probably be a Quantum, because of the way it fits my head. But if the Quantum didn't exist, and I could only choose one helmet, it would be the Corsair V. It has a feature set and build quality that should please everyone, and a sterling reputation. I just wish it cost about $500.00 less than it does. "

This will be a better buy (I think) ---- > http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/ogk-ff-5/

Would you guys buy one ??

I have the arai quantum 2 that looks exactly the outside design of arai rx 7 version v,but the vents on this new rx 7 version v is much better.

Will i buy the new arai rx 7 version v for $ 850 us dollars plus tax ? No,At the beginning of new year, new models are always expensive as per my experience on high ends.If i will buy i will wait til December.

Is this better than Quantum 2 ? Absolutely !

Is it worth the price ? I dont know,i havent tried it.

Is it expensive ? Some riders have disposable income, others dont, this is subjective and it depends on individuals income.

With the present U.S economy, the introductory price of $ 850 us dollars for a new helmet will be tough for buyers.

I got my quantum 2 for $ 512 (tax & shipping incuded) plus the xtra visor , & for me its one of the best in arai line up.

If this helmet will go on sale here in California between $ 400 - $ 500 i will the first one on line.:D,but i doubt that it will go on sale.

Just my $0.02 cents

nice LID...

planning to get one too, when i go to US this summer...

Arai has its quality, hard to match...

even an entry level Arai LID can compete with high end AGV's, and other brands, yan and di ko titipirin sa gear ko...

Hi Geemax,

Try this guy out if you want to get your next Arai. I bought my RX7 from him and he has excellent service and my helmet was shipped properly and well protected.

I'll probably wait until the end of this year to get this new Arai. They usually drop their prices at year end.

I might get the OGK FF5 for this season.

:D

i have an rr - 4 and RR-V. rr -v has a wider eye port, quick release cheek pads, (easier to for others remove your helmet in case of a fatal crash), the spoiler works!! it adds more speed! maybe plus 2kms depending on wind direction. rr- 4 and 5 are great arai helmets, arai is arai and you cant go wrong.

NOPE..... Not wothy.

I think the "Biggest" change for the New RX7 is the price!!! =b

Every year I get a change to go to Tokyo, I always get to compare the New & older Model & I see barely any improvements worth the attached price. Id certainly feel like a sucker if i will always jump on the chance of buying their new RX7 everytime the annually release it. And id rather spend my hard earned difference on other gears instead.

Just my 2 centavos worth....
