BMW has launched a large range of soft 'mobile' luggage which is aimed at riders of all makes and models of bikes, including owners of the German manufacturer's own machines.

The futuristic High-Speed rucksack is waterproof, with nine litres of storage space and a pocket to fit a back protector. It also has a hip and chest belt and a frame and cover designed to eliminate slipping and flapping. It's aimed at sports bike riders, and costs £60.

Also available is the £85 Function rucksack with a capacity of either 22 or 33 litres. The expansion system accomodates a helmet via the zipped compartment, and the rucksack is waterproof with an impact-protected inner bag.

The R1200 CL rucksack s colour-matched in black and light gold to the BMW bike of the same name, but it also has a 52 litre capacity and padding to make it big and safe enought o carry a laptop computer. It shares features with the Function and costs £70.

The BMW Luggage Roll holds 53 litres of storage, and is coated wiuth sealed seems to make the roll waterproof, and costs £70, while the Travel Bag is the BMW version of a tail pack with waterproofing, 70 litre capacity inner compartment, seperate side compartment, shoulder strap and removable key fob. It costs the same as the Luggae Roll at £70.

And the biggest capacity luggage of them all is the Travel Bag XL, which offers 90 litres of stroage space, and BMW claim it really could hold a small kitchen sink. It features rollers and a handle, as well as a removable key bag and combination lock. It measures 35 x 35 x 80cm and costs £110.
