Most of AGV helmets are made of Kevlar Material. hinde ko lang alam yung mga iba.

The more important thing is the polystyrene (styrofoam) layer underneath the helmet shell. If you are planning to make your own helmet, I would suggest that you not go through with it for your own sake.

yup :)

kaya ko tinatanong is bec kapag tumitingin ako ng fullface helmets (DOT and ECE cert.) ay "parang" walang protection sa chin portion. and since ganun yung "tingin" ko, concerned lang ako kung anong mas magandang pam-protect ng ulo natin..

Helmets with plastic composite shell are the most common in the market and generally cheaper. Helmets with fiber composite shells are usually stiffer and a bit lighter. While Helmets with carbon composite shells are usually the strongest but most expensive as well.

thanks ryan!..so when someone says that the material is "fiber" than it automatically falls under "fiber composite"? isnt the carbon composite also considered a "fiber"?
