good day astiboy,
if you still have the original grips on the px then i think it's time to change them. the original grips of the vespa are hard and slippery when wet, and a good deal thicker than the ordinary grip.

there are a couple of options you have, an original piaggio grip would set you back around 700, though they stick like crazy and probably the most compatible with the vespa (this is the one with the P logo), down side is it wreaks havoc on gloves, specially textile ones. then there are ariete grips which you can get at caloocan, prices vary. good quality grips. then there is my solution, gpr grips which cost 150 buckaroos! you can get them at MCS (motorcycles and scooters) along buendia. ask if they are for the vespa px.

gloves are a must on a vespa since your hands do so much when driving it, it really keeps your hand from being fatigued quickly. there are a lot of options for gloves. you can go all out with leather gloves which offer the best protection but limited movement (critical on shifiting). textile gloves like the joe rockets offer the best compromise for protection and comfort but at a price. for everyday use you can use the MX gloves like fox, axo or the other "derivatives" ;) you can find those gloves all over. originals cost more than the clones.

another way to relieve hand stress on your vespa, specially if you have small hands, is to shift to dog leg levers for the clutch and front brake. they make operating them a lot easier since you don't have to reach as far.
available at 2211 and at MCS.

It cost me only 300+++ lang dun sa katabing store ng INDY at 10th avenue
