why is there such a thing? i work in a manufacturing plant. we have about 150 or so "regular" employees. the rest are "contractual" or "temps". i'm a "regular". ever since i started working, there is this bitter attitude of "regulars" towards "contractuals" and new hirees. there isn't a day that a regular doesn't bark an order to new guys as if they were slaves or prisoners and the regulars are the "masters". you see it from rank and file up to management level. regulars expect new hirees to master their work right off the bat. and if you still don't get it the next day, you hear these regulars mumble as if they got it right the first time on their first day! my niece had that experience last year when she was hired in a fastfood chain as service crew. regular crews are nasty. they treat new guys like dirt. my niece never came back. now, she tried applying in another fastfood chain, and it's happening again. a regular crew is picking on her. as if she got her job right the first day!! her sister told me that it's some sort of "baptism of fire". but is it really a necessity? baptism of fire ba yung pag-usapan ka at tawagin "tanga"? what does a regular employee feel when they do things like these? gumaganda ba araw nila? may incentives ba silang nakukuha for every newbie na masabihan nilang tanga? may posyento ba? it sickens me to see situations like these... no wonder we can't move forward. utak talangka talaga

some siguro they were trying to get their "revenge" on the new ones dahil nasabihan na din sila ng "tanga" before... unfair di ba?

yup. dapat yung matatagal nang employees should set a good example. which should be the case. sad to say though that my niece gave up. she resigned from KFC Times Branch due to their personnel's "superiority complex" attitude. what is wrong with these people anyway? jeez....

Last week lang, mayroong isang Operations manager dito sa office by the name Levy Domingo, taga Jabson site pasig.
So, lumapit sya sakin, halos pilipitin nya yung mga daliri nya while approaching...
Ayung medyo lay-low sya, pero alam ko matagal nya bago ma kick yung ganung habit, malamang matagal na sya ganun pero nandito ako para i guide sya hangga't maari, I detest those kind of human being. Parang di galing sa alabok.
