ako yung turtle wax pinapahid ko then tissue paper pina pang wipe ko.. ok nman minsan yung mga light scratch natatanggal pa..

i would suggest that you remove the faceshield, wash it with soapy water and rinse it well...dry it using soft flannel cloth...

avoid using tissue paper since they are by-products of wood...which may result to scratches..this was the same advice given by optimetrists as far as taking care of eyeglasses, specially those with plastic lenses....

Eto naman sir, kakaiba. Pero siguro best applied to those mega scratches and ressurection of old helmets.

But this is only limited to original ECE/DOT standard helmets. Bot applicable to cheap imitations.

We done this to my Zeus helmet... Dami nang gas gas, may kalaliman pa...

We buffed it. We used 2 sand papers, 400 (level of grain) to level the scratches, then 600-1000+ to smoothen finish. Then we applied buffing soap. Scrubbed using the a drill atttached with a scrubber at its tip.

Ok sya! Parang bago yung finish. Not applicable sa Imitations kasi pag ginamitan na namin ng drill srubber, nabababasag yung lens. Not unlike International standard helmets, napaka tibay at flexible ng lens nya.

Just sharing my info. To those helmet lenses na laspagascious na! hehehehe!:D

pwede po ba yung Solarine? or yung pang rubbing ng kotse?

sayang helmet may nahingi ako kaso nakaka-duling pag ginamit mo kasi
ang daming gasgas, delikado na yun ganon e. wala din kasi replacement
dahil hindi dito nabili sa pinas.

Actually hindi naman po talaga sya for hard plastic. Used po sya generally for buffing ng bakal. pampakintab kumbaga. Ang effect po nya e parang Glo (yung ginagamit na pampakintab sa brass items sa CAT/ROTC)

Pero unlike glo na kulay puti, ang kulay po nya e green. Ask nyo na lang po sa mga tao sa ACE Hareware yung description ko. ituturo nila sa inyo un.

Baki namin ginamit sa lens ng helmet? lalang experiment. and it worked!!!

Matyaga kasi mag-buff yung barkada ko e. basta ang important part po is yung mapakinis nyo thru liha yung lens. Important po yung final finishing na vry fine grain ng liha ang i-apply for a perfect finish.

siguro ang naging good effect ng buffing soap is na sasama nya yung tiniest residue due to sand paper.

kumbaga nga po sa bakal napapakintab nya kasi the tiniest carbon/dirt particle e natatanggal nya. with the use of a drill scrubber. para maganda yung pagkakapunas, maganda yung pagkakakintab!

alaga lang sa punas ng pranela sa akin, basta make sure na hindi nalaglag sa sahig at baka nakapitan na ng lupa o mga alikabok, gasgas sa lense yun. :D

i use "rain away" galing non bro.... parang may langis ang salamin mo. water just slides out of the way. Kailangan lang follow procedures para maganda results. I know.... i bike everyday and it really sucks when it rains. You have to wipe out the water.. pag naka rain away, takbo k ng 40Kph, slide lang ang water giving you clear view......also removes water stains. My helmet , marami na gasgas and for replacement na pero yung lens ko sobrang linaw pa rin. I wanna get my head this one helmet na may visor tapos clear. 14K waaaaaaa pero worth the money kasi kailangan during the day tapos clear lens at night........ ipon ipon ipon............

i had the opposite effect of using rain away, naging blurry ung lense ko, kaya from that time on water and flannel cloth na ang gamit ko

running water tapos clean cotton cloth.

wash clean with wet cloth then dry then apply wax...ok na ok :clap:

nangyari na din sa akin yan, sa GDR na lid ko. Ginawa ko lang, soap diluted in water (tipong kaunti lang bula,more water less soap), tapos brush sa inner pads. Tapos nun, brush with water til yung soap suds mawala. Then hang to dry.Pwede mo repeat yung process if meron pa din amoy. Pag ok na sa iyo, try using a spray like motospray, or what ever product you use.

Tanggal ang bactera - OK, kaya din ng ordinaryong alcohol at chlorox yan.

Tanggal amoy? - Sa umpisa oo, sa ibabaw ng surface oo pero sandali lang
aactivate ulit ng moisture yan pag nabasa.

Tanggal yung mga pawis na nag asin / libag dun sa styro at linings?

Nakaka gasgas ng lens yan sir. Walang iniwan po sa rubbing compound yung toothpaste.

Try nyo po remove yung lens then soap and water lang po with soft sponge, pag banlaw po, wag kakamayin. dry it with pranela and apply a thin coat of tire black or other silicon products sa outside lens. next time na dumumi, use a soft paint brush to wipe the alikabok away first then pranela lang po ulit..

it also cleans bike windshields as well

its a what i can call a somewhat sort of a miracle spray cleaner that smells good too

Baka naman iniwanan mo lang after applying? kasi sabi sa manual , clean lense first wit soap and water, then dry it. Apply rain away with a clean cloth(i use two drops on a bud sized cotton and apply it in a circular motion till it turns blurry), then wipe out with paper towel na parang inalis mo lang sya. Ayus naman. Siguro nga iniiwan mo lang. Try it one more time.... follow the steps
