Indeed conventional full-face helmets protect us from many things, but also there are many things that it cannot protect us from.

As always there are flaws. A helmet becomes really hot when you stay stationary on the road due to the lack of openings for air. Also, it doesn't protect your air intake from pollution and harmful gas.

One such way to rid these problems is to use tightly-sealed mask like the ones Fighter pilots use. But this is a MC helmet, so I'm thinking that there should be "hoses" injected into the helmet. One hose is directly planted into an oxygen tank, while another is for draining hot air and moist off the rider's face and head.

For the oxygen tank it should not pose a major problem as there are small lightweight tanks available out there, like the ones used to contain Nitrous Oxide (N2O) in motorcycle drag racing.

This would ensure that the rider is 100% safe from any air pollution from the road, while maintaining complete supply of oxygen for breathing in the helmet.

Just one of my random thoughts that I would love to share.

God bless.

Indeed, it is quite a thought. If tankbags could be conceived, then why can't oxygen bags be placed atop the tank? I think the only real hinderance would be the capacity of the oxygen tank and how long it could supply the needed oxygen in a day's ride. We could probably adopt scuba technology and manipulate it. The environment would be different from underwater so I guess we would be needing less compressed gases. An air purifier perhaps? I'll leave it to the engineers to find a way. :x

Necessity is the mother of invention. :C

While we're at it, I think a sealed, "air conditioned" suit should be employed so that the whole body is still invigorated when you reach your destination. It would work pretty well in our hot & humid climate. Man, I could just imagine the space-suit like character of that device! Bring it on!

The helmet itself should be constructed from a ultra light but highly durable material such as kevlar.

The oxygen hoses that are injected into the helmet should be made from a lightweight but strong metal such as titanium. These titanium hoses should be segmented in such a way that they are bendable like rubber hoses.

The oxygen tanks or bottles should be carried on to the rider's back. And such a helmet should come standard with nightvision and thermal-vision technology on it's visor!

God had blessed me with such ideas!!
