ano po ba ang mas reliable na lock ng fullface helmet, yung D ring o yung Quick release retention system?

QUICK RELEASE brod pero mas maganda kung metal, brittle kasi ang plastic pag tumagal....

the thing i dont like sa quick release kung nagmamadali ka minsan hindi maishoot! sa double d-ring naman kung naka gloves na ako dikorin maishoot! :O

since you've mentioned "RELIABLE"...nothing beats the double "D" ring retention system...

Double "D". High end helmets always use this.

Meron yung lock system ng Zeus, bakal sya at hindi plastic, kaya reliable narin sya.

salamat sa mga reply nyo sirs.. yes most high end helmet use D ring. kasi yung sakin quick release na metal naman, reliable naman siguro basta metal diba?

the thing i dont like sa quick release kung nagmamadali ka minsan hindi maishoot! sa double d-ring naman kung naka gloves na ako dikorin maishoot! :O

mas shoot talaga pag di nakasuot........ang gloves.hehehe
para sa akin, ulo ang pinoprotektahan dito.di baleng medyo matagal isuot pag double-D, safe ka naman.kesa quick release na plastic.baka mas mauna pa helmet mo sayo lumipad.

yung full face ko kasi DD...kya last ko sinusuot ung gloves. ung jet helmet ko naman metal quick release. :C

Bro, yung D Ring ay yung bakal sing sing na nakalaylay sa strap ng helmet, at shaped "D" sya, usually dalawa o tatlong D Ring ang nakalagay.
Minsan sa isang magandang helmet, yugn D Ring ay pang double lock nung chin strap maliban sa quick release locking system nya.

I think it really depends na on a rider's preference. D-ring is easy to adjust and seems more secure but can be troublesome to put on especially while wearing gloves. Quick release buckle generally is more practical but needs more work in adjusting the strap's length. But there are some helmets that are starting to use a new buckle similar to the ones in like motocross boots as it provides the convenience of quick release and the ease of adjustment of a D-ring.

About high end helmets having D-ring usually, I think it is more of a myth. In the US, almost all helmets will have D-ring even the very cheap ones. While in Europe, you will find that most helmets have quick release buckles and almost only racing type helmets will have D-ring.
