Tips po sa mga gusto bumili...

wag kayo bibili ng riding boots/shoes na may synthetic leather. walang kwenta yun, good as cloth lang ang tibay nun, also since synthetic sya, dun lang sa paint nun nakakapit yung rubber nung swelas so buka agad yun kahit may tahi sa ilalim. Go for the good brands, it offers good quality too...

bought this SBR210 last august at Motoworld Trinoma.. worth every cent..
i've been using it everyday eversince kahit pa naka-slacks ako pag pumapasok sa office :D maganda sya pag casual ka lang (jeans) d masyadong halata na naka-boots ka not unless rider mismo makapansin sau

@TS

Its cheaper though.

May myth na...

Delikado daw sa rider na sumakay sa motor na naka-sapatos na de-sintas dahil pag natanggal sa pagkakabuhol ang sintas ay maaring pumulupot ito sa kadena thats why naglagay ang manufacturer ng chainguard sa MC nila para maprotektahan ang kadena and for safety purpose na rin...kaya kung makikita natin ang mga Boots/Shoes made for MC Riding ay strap-on lang at bihira or walang de sintas.

Ano masasabi nyo mga Sir?

Ano masasabi nyo mga Sir?

pwede naman kasing ipaloob yung sintas sa shoes, naimbento na po yun matagal na he he he...

once nangyari na rin sakin yun, pero sumabit lang yung loop ng sintas dun sa foot peg, since then, di nako nag low-cut, advisable is midcut and up, kasi yung sintas mataas, at mas maganda protection nito against sprains.

Hi! Please allow me to share some comments regarding recent posts about riding shoes...

Waterproof or non-waterproof?
You have to check your priorities and what kind of riding you will mostly do. If its general commuting with occasional touring, I suggest you prioritize getting a non-waterproof shoe especially with our hot and humid weather. The main reason is because a non-waterproof shoe is generally MUCH MORE comfortable with all its vents and 90% of our riding time will probably be spent on dry weather. When we feel more comfortable, the more we can focus on our riding more. A waterproof bootie can had for not much for the occasional rain anyway.

But if you have extra budget for a 2nd pair, a longer waterproof boot for touring or unpredictable weather riding would be good to have also. Why would you want a longer boot? Because a short water proof boot will not offer much weather protection as water can still seep through the top of the shoe easily.

With or without shoe laces? Why a motorcycle casual shoe over a regular casual shoe?
I think most will agree that shoes with laces have a nice fit since its customizable and they look very cool for city riding or short distance touring. In my opinion , if you are riding a scooter for short city runs, shoes with laces should be ok. But if you use a bike with foot shifter, I suggest you get a shoe that comes with a strap on top to cover the laces. Unlike regular casual shoes, most motorcycle casual shoes has this feature... and also provide extra reinforcements all around the shoe without sacrificing comfort (for extended walking) and looks.

But for other types such as sport riding, off road, or long range touring, a more technical shoe meant for that specific activity would still be the best.
