i had made some researches and inquiries before.....about these cooling vest


meron sa u.s...costs about £150

forgot the name pero its also a vest..

though the mechanism of action differs slightly

whereas eto uses a backpack with a water pump for circulation,

that vest is a standalone....me liquid solution sa mga pockets nya all over the vest...

the solution is of special make....it can provide cooling effect for the next 4 hours...while ridng

the catch is...you have to freeze the vest [say chest freezer for the next 8-10 hours]---to maximize the cooling effect..less time in the freezer reduces the efficiency.

pero merong hi tech freezers which can reduce the freezing time by 50%..say 4 hours...

but they are expensive [these ones are used by miners, fire brigade]

this vest is much compact, leaner, lighter compared with veskimo

pouring water over my shirt works fine for me. kahit tanghaling tapat pa sa summer. palit nalang ako ng tshirt pagdating ko sa destination ko. I wouldn't buy the product.
time tested na ang method ko. ginagawa yan ng mga nagbibisikleta, marathoners, and other athletes na nakabilad sa araw.

for me, i will not purchase one of this? it doesn't means that this veskimo can be alternate for our safety jackets! :D
