sir, DOT does not approve or certify helmets. may guidelines lang sila na ipinalabas. the manufacturers ang nagsasabi kung nag comply sila sa mga standards na sinet ng DOT.

how about spyder helmet oky lang po ba un kasi medyo mas oky pa ung sa nabibili sa recto and quiapo. kasi nakabili ako ng sale nila 1.8k dating 2.3k yata un sa south mall.

Go for ARAI or SHOEI even underbone motor mo, basta may pambili ka ok lang yon!!!:*

as long as it is SNELL, BSI, ECE22.05 and such certification.

boss newbie lang ako' ano ba ibig sabihin ng dot , tuv ? iba ba yun ISO certified sa mga ECE......kasi may nakita akong mga helmet na prang arenola na may ECE approved . then yun ibang helmet na naka fullface na prang arai' walaNG ECE .

Department of Transportation yan. naglabas sila ng guidelines na dapat sundin ng mga manufacturers. pag ikaw ang manufacturer at sumunod ka sa guidelines nila, tulad ng tamang labeling,walang protrusion sa outershell, more than one inch ang styro of a certain density sa loob ng shell. strap of more than half inch. marami pang di ko na maalala kung ano. puede ka na mag lagay ng sticker na DOT. making it legal for your helmet to be sold in the states.

ang gamit ko shoei helmet kahit mahal sigurado ako, kaya pinagagamit sa wife ko baka kc makalog ang utak at magising sa katotohanan.:crazy:
