Tingin ko sir,mas ok kung bago na bibilin mo,meron ngang expiration ang mga helmet. At hindi mo alam kung nabagsak o may damage na s loob.Payo lang po..Ride safe always.

i wouldn't get it for the reasons:
-helmets do have a 5 year expiration.
-you don't know how it was handled, it might been dropped by the previous owner.
-the polystyrene liner inside the helmet actually conforms to the rider's head that's why we break in new helmets to fit our head properly.
-last would be for sanitary reason.
at the price of those surplus helmet you can get a bnew zeus helmet.

Basicaly I would agree with you all. Safety does not need to be expensive... there are lest cost helmets out there na certified and DOT or SNEL approved na. And primary concern dyan sir is sanitary.... usually yata sir mga surplus from Japan and nearby country mga binebenta... and if your eyes are curious enough the history of helmets clearly show it self by the scrach and the condition of the internal foam and polystyrene liner inside. We really hope all of the riders will become a wise buyer when it comes to safety... and wont be indulge with glamore of brand names
