Wing 1 June 9th, 2003, 07:35 AM Hi! I use knee and shin guards manufactured by FOX. I got it from dreambikes in Alabang. I forget the price, but I know it is within our budget. The other guys may have better suggestions. Good luck! Ride Safely:) sharky June 9th, 2003, 10:18 AM My brand of knee and shin guard is "Shift" at first I was looking for Fox and they said that shift was better. Just compare them both just to see which is better. BoyG June 9th, 2003, 08:46 PM I use the FOX ones. Big buggers but effective. I should know, I've tested them already hehe. Shift is also ok, looks smaller and has a lot more vents. Priced around the same if I'm not mistaken. Bimbo Wing 1 June 9th, 2003, 10:00 PM By the way, FOX knee/shin guards are quite bulky. As BoyG said, Big Buggers. If you've got hairy legs, they may feel quite uncomfortable at times. Do you know the feeling when someone tries to pluck strands of hair from your legs? Ouch!! Hope you get the best suited for your needs renmin June 10th, 2003, 02:13 AM Thanks guys. I've seen the UFO and Fox mas maganda quality ng FOX bandit December 15th, 2003, 02:09 PM Originally posted by littlebadboy wowiesy, you may wear your protectors outside or inside your pants whatever is comfortable to you. cheers! i disagree on this one IMO, the protectors are more prone to twist if it's outside the pants. you can already see the knee pad flap while the bike is in motion, what more if its being scraped on to the ground. littlebadboy December 15th, 2003, 02:31 PM Originally posted by bandit i disagree on this one IMO, the protectors are more prone to twist if it's outside the pants. you can already see the knee pad flap while the bike is in motion, what more if its being scraped on to the ground. wow! been some time seeing you around in these parts dude! i guess it depends on the kind of knee/shin protector you have. remember khankaloo's on our infanta ride with the ATAT's? |
