Guys i'm new here at MCP, can you tell me what helmet should i buy? i'm confused with different brands eh...yung "bang-for-the-buck" sana...Oh and ano yung "Modular"?(Sorry for the stupid question)

get the best helmet you can afford, never scrimp on your riding gears... in case of a spill, it is worth its weight in gold 'ika nga...
(plus me bragging rights ka hehehe)

may i suggest na full-face kunin nyo? nothing can protect your melon better than a full faced helmet..

sir the subject about what is the best motorcycle helmet is very subjective because there are many factors you have to consider. such as, the price, weight, graphics, fit and the built quality. but in my experience, amongst all of my helmets in my collection the best one is the SparX S07 this helmet is made by kbc for the lower end market but it seems to have a better built than my kbc force rr (sold) and vr3. it is as light as my shoei rf1000 and agv s4. so if you come across a SparX go get it.:*

the best helmet would be a certified one which is worn properly everytime you ride your MC....

even the most expensive helmet may become useless when not worn properly...

if your budget is 4K and below.....go for Zeus
4k - 7k..................HJC, KBC, Caberg, etc.
7k up ...................go for the best value for your money...

always remember, a helmet is a disposable item...once it had been used in an accident, you need to replace it even if it may still look good.

ano ba bagay na helmet sa fury na white? ung gamit ko kc shoei na pang motocross. tsaka ung afordable nman.

for me, tested na ang zeus... pero kung may budget ka, go for HJC, KBC, or caberg....

regalo sakin ng misis ko KBC TK-8... di ko alam kung magkano kuha nya, ayaw sabihin at konti lang nagtitinda dito... pina ship pa nya from singapore, you can search e-bay for that...

so far ok ang KBC for me, sakto kasi na kailangan ko na palitan ang zeus ko...

wait natin ibang reply bro and hopefully makuha mo din ang helmet na para sayo...

SNELL ang pamantayan ng pagpili ng helmet dahil mas mataas ang standards nito sa DOT. Research nyo ung SNELL Foundation para malaman nyo kung ano ang test na ginagawa nila sa mga helmet. Hindi rason ang walang pambili sa SNELL certified na helmet, e bat nakabili ka ng motor? Sa halagang 4,500 e makakabili ka na ng HJC na SNELL certified, na hindi naman kabigatan ang halaga kesa dun sa helmet na mauntog lang e crack na ang shell at styro. Opinion ko lang.

sir VASILI, kung approved quality na modular eh hindi siguro bubukas kung ordinaryong semplang lng..

+1 ke sir escobar, bili sana tayo ng gear, ang matirang pera yun nag budget sa bike..... wala namang na ospital dahil panget ang bike eh..

nakabili ako ng HJC Cs-12 sa Pro Helmet sa calamba, Php3,800. nakalagay na manufacturer ay Hong Jin(Beijing) Sports Goods. Original HJC po kaya ito?
Pwede ko pa kayang palitan ng Zeus kung di orig? may mga forumers ba dito na pwedeng tumulong just in case?

bikebox/trinoma same price. 5k po... pero sa bikebox ko nabili saken kasi wala pa medium size sa trinoma eh.. kaw san mo nabili?

sarap gamitin sir no? ang gaan kasi fiber composite tapos ang gwapo pa.. :C

full face pa din pero wala ako masasabi kung modular yan na caberg or hjc etc. alam ko kasi yung caberg na rhyno, metal yung latches and matibay. yun nga lang, iba pa din kung buo yung helmet since mas maganda distribution sa helmet kapag nasa aksidente.

go for a full face. try the caberg 104 gara na binebenta ni airo sa for sale section, for 6.8k its worth it. pero nakita ko din sa motoworld thread na 6.5k lang siya dun. di ka magsisisi sa caberg. and dont mind the price, theres nothing more precious than your head.

yung mga helmet na around 15k mejo mahal na kasi nga built na yun for really high speed crashes (400cc bikes and up). and di ibig sabihin na DOT or ECE certified "LANG" helmet mo e hindi ka na protected.
