mga sir,

is there anyone out there that have been stopped by any traffic enforcer specially LTO, Mapsa or any municipal enforcer for using Drag/Loud Pipes on your bigbikes or cruiser?

is there any truth that only underbones are affected by this law or ordinance?
also the side mirror dimension. i've read a lot concerning these matters here, it always seems to be talked about why bigbikes are not apprehended.

TOTOO BA ITO? Bakit kaya? =b
Kasi me nakita ako group ng Mad Dogs sa SLEX, all using open drag pipes (i assume kasi para me echo pa sa loob ng pipe pag nag menor sila) on thier harleys.

please don't start any arguments ha, comments lang in your opinion. thank you

Wala kasi maaapi kung walang magpapaapi.

Almost majority, when apprehended they don't even care to question the legalities of what the enforcers are embarking on them.

Side mirror issue:
1. If you have none, it is a violation according to LTO Rules and Regulations...
2. If you have, and if you are on National Road, National Rules applies and not the City
ordinance.

Loud Pipes:
1. Is it louder than bus horns? If not, why dont they apprehend the busses first.
2. Will you replace the OEM parts and loose the identity and the prestige?
3. If your bike is BIG, you may sound Big. If its small and sounds Big, its a little bit
argumentary.
4. Do enforcers have decibel meters?
5. Are they not misunderstanding the Law?

Lastly:

If you're sure that you are lawfully right, why not contest and charge the erring party of all damages, including your day/week's pay, processing fee, lawyers fee etc.

They see bikes as a symbol of status. If you can buy expensive bikes, you can easily sue them, or you belong into an influential community. If you have a bike which cost almost a million bucks, its just a penny for you to sue them.

i drive a cb-1 (399cc) na naka open-pipe, and my route (c-5) has the usual traffic enforcers checkpoint (kalayaan-c5, and this jollibee-past HTMT/c5, underpass/end of c5 past Eastwood), not once was i stopped for having an open/loud pipe.
