1. freethrow= they are both freethrow shooter

3. mid-range jumpshot= mj is the man no doubt
4. fade away jumpers= they are both king of fade aways, but mj is the first to do so
5. dunk= mj no doubt, kobe is good too
6. clutch= mj, kobe is good indeed
7. acrobatic shots/ impossible shots= mj, kobe is good indeed
8. heart= they are both
9. defense= they are both

we are not speaking of fancy plays nor high flying dunks...... we are talking about hard nose basketball. talent for talent. will to win stuff. kobe will not last against the bad boys of detroit (rodman, laimbeer, sally, thomas, dumars etc) which jordan totally demolished. did you see how kobe melted like a candle when boston made their assault in game 4?
