Ichthus Janz June 6th, 2008, 02:15 PM Looks like you're really into good helmets bro. What happened to the Z1R you just got?
I know a place who's sell KBCs, perhaps they have your size. PM me.

NSCB June 6th, 2008, 02:38 PM @ artbike
mine is a KBC VR2 Legend...the only difference with the dragon is the graphics.
here's a what i can say about it...
> it's lightweight
> it's not noisy
> great ventilation (air vents really work)
> very comfortable
> with removable/washable inner liners

Icon June 6th, 2008, 02:43 PM I own both Icon & KBC....
KBCs are great.
Fit , Finish, Design are up to par with other makes. I love em coz theyre very light. accessories are not that hard to source out & are very reasonable.
I have the TKs, VR1S, VR2,VR3 & their Modular.... Sold quite a few of them & are DOT, SNELL as well.
artbike June 6th, 2008, 02:50 PM @icon

pepe1275 June 6th, 2008, 11:44 PM mga sir, i used to have a kbc force rr and my only gripe with that helmet was the lens. it doesn' have that ratcheting sound when i open and close the lens. anybody in here with the same problem?

In general, As long as the lens does not open or close unintentionally, then I dont think theres anything wrong with the helmet.
Wills_McLaren June 7th, 2008, 10:16 AM VR2 is the hi-end model of KBC ?
pepe1275 June 7th, 2008, 01:59 PM price wise sir i think its the vr3, the vr2 is their race helmet. the price of a replica vr2 is around 280usd and the vr3 strada is around 300usd suggested retail price but you can get these helmets dirt cheap in ebay.
d'virus June 13th, 2008, 09:50 PM nabasa ko lang:
KBC helmets - are an excellent mid price helmet. They offer a very good finish, great graphics in the VR2 range and a good comfortable fit.
VR2 - The KBC VR2 helmet features a tri composite shell construction with completely removable and washable inner lining. The VR2 is available in 6 awesome graphics and 4 plain colours. Some of the latest graphics include the popular Gunslinger graphic, Reaper and Airborne.

Ichthus Janz June 16th, 2008, 06:52 PM I believe OZ Racing Makati is selling KBC Helmets too. Yung nagbebenta sa akin datin di ko na mahagilap.
@Artbike
If the HJC Helmet is a AC12 then by all means get it. Pero kung mga lesser models just go with KBC.

CS helmets are the budget class helmet offering by HJC. CL series are midlevel while the AC models are the top of the line. I believe the CS-R1 sells for less than a $100.
If it were my choice bro, I'd go for the KBC.

pepe1275 June 16th, 2008, 10:21 PM KBC is really cheap here in the Philippines compared to the U.S. and HJC is similarly priced here and the U.S. so if you are in a budget and looking for a good helmet get a
VR2 it is much lighter compared to the CL-SP and have a smaller profile. the only thing i don't like with the KBC is that the visor does'nt have the ratcheting sound when you close the visor unlike the HJC's.
