usually we experienced such thing during rainy season or early morning ride where in the lens is totally closed. the usual solution is to open up the lens a little bit which is not normal for me because water falls tend to flow from the inner side of the helmet lens and it add noise when your riding fast.

hay ang nakakaasar din kasi kahit iopen mo ng konti (one knotch) nakakaduling naman yung lower edge ng lens me grado cya..so tingin mo dun sa daan parang bigalng me lalim!!so you have to look far ahead to avoid it.

Sir, the Zeus 508 helmet. its not 508W its the regular 508 model of Zeus walang letter.. but i think kahit yung 508W ganun din.. foggy din..

sabi po naman nila pag nag fogging ang helmet lens mo pahiran lang daw ng kunting shampoo yung loob ng lens. pero hindi ko pa to na try, iwan ko kung effective ba..

sir IMHO lang ah...pag malamig talaga yung lens mo during cold temperatures kahit anung lens naman yata ganun eh...hot vapors tends to cling to cold surfaces...unless yung helmet mo may breath guard like those on HJC's...or...hehehe may blower ka sa loob ng helmet para madiperse agad yung mainit mong hininga at wag na kumapit sa lens mo...:D

Guys, me nakita ako one time sa web na pinang pahid sa loob nang visor "CAT CRAP" ata pangalan....
o kaya yung FOG CITY visor inserts...

another option ay yung mga breath guards...

when I bought my CL-14 from Deka, breath guard is not included. they told me that I need to buy it separately. maybe this is the culprit to cause my HJC to fog on its lid.

i've notice from the new Zeus, they already have breath guards. any info on the breath guard to minimize fogging on the helmet lids?

with regards to the shampoo, etc... maybe there are helmet that don't need such thing.

nung nag diving kami, meron silang itinuro. it's ok but a bit dirty. :D i won't do that to my helmet lid... :crazy:

ah alam ko na yun..hehehe kaya nga small amount of shampoo daw pwede..

haven't had a full face helmet that did not fog on cold wet days when going at a slow pace... arai's pinlock sorta works (emphasis on sorta)... neither do breath guards don't work for me... when it's raining, i opt for a jet style helmet or drill small holes at the bottom of my visor...

as for diving goggles... we use toothpaste...

depends on what type of balaclava sir..dapat filtered..i myself gumagamit ako ng balaclava...kaya lang yung spandex ang tela...wa epek magffog parin kasi manipis lang sya...bast solution talaga yung b.guard talaga para derecho sa labas yung vapor..kasi pag huminga ka cyempre mainit,...pag buga mo...ayun...drecho sa lens...unlike pag merong b.guard...nakaseperate yung bibig mo at yung mata..nagsisilbi ito partition..

sa pagkaka alam ko po, kasama dapat yung breath guard sa mga HJC kasi yung kasama ko meron. ayoko lang makipagtalo sa nagbebenta since mura ko sya nakuha at 3.8k wala din kasi akong muwang noon sa ganitong pangyayari. bago pala ako nag HJC eh Zeus 508W muna ako. :)

na try ko na mag breath guard and balaclava on my cl-14 pero mas lalong lumabo... :o mas ok pa kung breath gurad lang at walang balaclava...

Rain X will solve your problem. This is available in most automotive parts stores. Apply both on the inside and outside of your helmet visor.

Caberg rhyno, yes unfortunately, it's true. Though both visors don't stay foggy for long. They seem to demist themselves just as quickly as they fog up.

I got myself a thick neoprene full head and neck mask that is shaped to hug my nose really closely. The upper part is pretty much air tight so my breath vents out the bottom, no more mist. Got it from somewhere between Antipolo and Tanay, just some random bike shop - they had it hanging on the wall in a plastic bag. It was 800 peso if memory serves. Nice and thick, have to wash the dirt and sweat out every other day though.

Normal lang naman yan sa Helmet na walang ani-fog treatment.... kung doon nga sa may anti fog nag kaka fog parin pag malamig na.

agv wala din kasamang breath guard pero anti fog ang mga lens.

hey there! I own a Caberg Rhyno and the only time it fogs up is when its cold outside and if you stop for a long period, but the fog goes away once you're moving

lahat ng helmet nagfa-fog. sa states may nabibiling parang plastic film na dinidikit sa lens para di daw sya mag fog. nung dinikit ko, lumabo lens ko kahit di pa sya nag fa-fog kaya tinanggal ko uli. sayang lang pera ko.
as for rain-x or rain away, effective sya in the sense na konting takbo lang mag ki-clear na ang fog agad.
sicreto ng mga divers na walang pera, dinuduraan lang ang loob ng lens tapos iniispread. tried and proven na ang method na ito. it works.
importante ang breath guard para yung ineexhale mo na hangin ay directed sa baba at hindi sa lense.
as for the balaclava, it negates the function of the breath guard. instead of isang stream ng hangin ang lumalabas sa ilong mo at ididirect ng breath guard pababa, dinidifuse ng balaclava kaya lalong naiiwan ang warm air sa loob ng helmet.

na try ko gamitin ng malakas ang ulan yung agv stealth ko.. di sya nag fo-fog kahit sarado yung lens. Alam ko meron talagang helmet na may anti-fog treatment yung lens.

mga bro try using shark hemets aside from the anti fog coating nya sa lens well ventilated ang pagkakadesign nya. tried and tested ko na po kahit gaano pa kalakas ang ulan never siya nagfog no need to lift your visors.parang rexona,it wont let you down... :D

yung stock na visor ng K-series & GP1 walang anti-fog. daya...... di tulad ng ibang model ng AGV may anit fog like the GT & race series.
