anyone knows any shops here in the metro that sells mechanix gloves?

Interesting looking gloves...forgive my ignorance but are these riding gloves or these really are literally Mechanic's gloves? hehe!

I think that they are really made for mechanix:D ... Saw a couple of Harley mechanics wearing them... Well, according to their website, www.mechanix.com, they are made of tough but comfy materials so I think they can be used as a daily riding glove...

I think I saw one of these gloves at ACE hardware or handyman sometime ago, not as good looking as the one above, its a knitted glove with synthetic leather palm reinforcement...

Most JT-Bikes (Triumph) Stores, with branches in Taft Ave., Rizal Ave Caloocan, West Ave. & infront of SM-Fairview still has stocks of Mechanix gloves. I bought a pair of Mechanix from JT for P1,750.00 way back in 1996 and used them for 9-years. Now, I'm using another pair of medium sized Impact-2 gloves which a friend of mine in the US bought for me for about $70.00. It's quite a good pair of gloves for riding.

Sa USA ko po nabili, pumapatak naa 900 petos po.

Yung Mpact-2 model ang type ko sa Mechanix, kaso wala ata dito

Just an update on this.. i've asked my sis, who lives in the states, to buy me a pair for my everyday use.. I just received the package kanina lang...so here is my review... btw, the one that she sent me is the same as the one I posted above pero white ang lettering.

Plus points:
* Comfortable
* Thin but tough material was used for better dexterity
* Looks
* Non slip cloth ang ginamit dun sa palm part ng gloves

Negative points
* Not well ventilated kaya mainit sya sa kamay

so far, yun lang muna 'coz bago pa kasi... machine washable naman daw sya so let us see kung hindi maghihimulmol ung material pag nilaban na...

Meron ako nito pero sa tingin ko hindi to driving gloves. Ginawa to para sa mga mekaniko lang seguro. IMO

it is indeed made for mechanics hence the name...
