Different heads has different preferences,it all depends how much you can afford and how much you're willing to spend.

One size does not fit all,and same with the budget, each one us has different financial status in life.

Arai RX7 CORSAIR cost between $ 550 - $ 700 here in the U.S

Is it comfortable ? yes

Is it good for daily use ? to each his own

Is it practical ? (nowadays with soaring gasoline prices everyrthing goes up)

You're the judge !:)

Simple lang yan brad,
Mas malaking budget mas maraming pag-pipilian,konting budget konting pag-pipilian.

If you have the Budget, Invest on the HJC AC-12 carbon Fiber Helmet... Triumph sells it for P18.5k.

Pero, dont be intimidated sa Price. If your Objective is to have a tough, comfortable, yet still have the "lightest" helmet out there, this is the ticket. The Weight difference over ALL other brands will make up for the comfort you will feel when you use it day to day & on long traffic & rides...

Ultimately, well worth the price of admission....

Sir primepoy if you're in a budget and want to have the best of both worlds na helmet get a SparX s07 if you can. Gawa ito ng kbc but at a lower price point, it is both SNELL and ECE22.05 certified which is better than SNELL. I personally have this helmet amongst my collection and it is waaay better and lighter than my kbc force rr it is a little bit lighter than my Shoei RF1000. If you get the special edition it comes with clear and dark visor with ear plugs pa and the sheilds are Arai type na may eyebrow vent.

ang comfortable na helmet e hindi rin nakukuha sa brand. kung saan ka sanay kung ako for everyday use I would prepare to use a modular helmet with double visor kahit anong brand basta pumasa sa safety standard easy access kasi ang modular especially kung mag nagtatanong ka ng direksiyon, pag touring naman full face ang gamit ko dipende na un sa features ng helmet mo like noise canceler, air vents, breath guard, fog free lenses, etch etch be wise not all brands are good to buy.

inputs lang po mga pre.. full-face lang po, not even modular..thanks! :D

any brand basta kasya sa elbow  dami ko nakikita sa kalsada na ganyan and mukang comfortable naman yung rider :D

kidding aside, expect to see all brands and makes in your thread. each helmet will always have its pros and cons and subjective inputs from their respective owners who had experiences with them. a man's rubbish may be another's treasure. basta don't knock it unless you've tried it.

comfort will be based on different factors like...
FIT - lids have sizes and it is highly recommended you get the right size based on your measurement kahit sobra snug at first
SHELL SHAPE - find the best shape for your head, if not, baka sumakit ulo mo sa pressure points
VENTILATION - manufacturers had a moving bike in mind when they designed the helmet vents. walang malamig na helmet sa traffic :O
LINING - these materials, those materials..that wick off sweat and make the inner helmet stiff but comfy
NOISE - if you wanna keep the wind noise at a minimal, try closing some vents. or wear earplugs.
WEIGHT - the extra weight savings will be realized during very long trips. shell size offering should be considered.

these are some helmet characteristics i would consider if comfort was the topic. but let's be honest... fit, shell shape/size, and weight are only a few factors out of many that we may check out inside the store before we purchase a lid right? so you be your own judge :) happy helmet hunting!!

based on experience:
arai rx7 - lightweight, good amount of vents, a bit noisy
suomy explorer - lightweight, moderate ventilation, quiet compared to the arai
but pareho sila mainit pag mabagal ang takbo...

Actually, the jaw piece is actually very very easy to replace with the closed one if ever it rains...its as easy as changing your tshirt. Besides, it was mainly made for hot weather so it really does solve that problem. The price I was told by Ryan would be just under the 20k mark...mga 19k cguro...

Check it out...

ah good point BUT the xzero1 isnt your typical modular helmet and I thought maybe if he sees this he might have second thoughts. hehe! Actually, I wasnt really into modular system helmets but when i saw this, I have never been so impressed...so...TS...whatcha think? ito nalang? hehe!

yup, not typical but still a modular in any which way possible. too many bells and whistles for my taste. i wouldn't wanna be on the receiving end of that chin bar in a face first situation. as you've said, it's not yet in the market so basically no pinoy experiences with this helmet whatsoever. logically, the thread starter expects inputs based on our experience with the helmets we have used for him to come up with a reasonable choice... i know you're trying to help but showing a video of a helmet that you "think" is great isn't gonna cut it. then might as well give him all the links to all helmet reviews we can manage to get our hands on, right? the least you could do is give your own personal account of your own helmet...you own a helmet right? malay mo magustuhan pa ng mga readers dito ang inputs mo and lead them to buy the same make/model as yours.

with that said, it's still modular, he wants a full face, and you're OT =b

for me HJC CL 15!!! i used it almost 10 hours straight on rain and shine, during our samar-leyte ride! no neck strains!!! even while we are taking a nap i don't remove it! still it's very comfy!!!

i also used CL 14-tribe - but it was stolen! it was also comfortable!
i also did CL 12-SIII- it's quite heavy and not that as comfortable like CL 14 and 15...
