In Moto X the riders jump high into the air with their bikes and do exhibitions while suspended in mid-air.
Due to the hazard that is associated with such moves, they have developed a form of chord that is strapped to the rider's waist and is directly attached to the bike. This lessens the risk of the rider losing or dropping the bike while in mid-air because he is now connected to it through a chord.
Riders can now do more daredevil stunts without fear. "One-handed Superman" or "No-handed Superman" moves can now be handled by the riders with more confidence and ease.
Have these chords been appearing in our shores yet? I figured we're pretty primitive in this country so I'm thinking that we are pretty late again.

I think it gets rather corny and repetitive that you keep mentioning I have a Jet Euro X. Even MotoGP riders ride scooters when they are off the circuit. What is the big deal??
If you think it's not practical to ride scooters in our slow and narrow streets, then you are absolutely wrong. Philippine roads are filled with traffic and scooters are very useful to get from one place to another with ease.
We have dirtbikes in our garage and so I was only inquiring relevantly with this topic. You are so weird. Is that the typical Filipino mentality you have there?? If so, then no wonder many Americans call this country a "jungle!"

....but isn't it risky too? What if the bikes commits a mistake when landing ..... the rider will then be dragged along with the bike .... worst .... what if the bike tumbles a couple of times dragging the rider. Ouch. :?
Same with having a seatbelt on a bike. Funny if a government official implements this. :D :O

The chord I believe is strong enough to hold the rider to it's bike while in mid air, but is actually thin enough to disengage itself in the event of an impact.

Moto X is only for the best of the best of the best and that is very hard to digest. Moto X riders are top riders who went crazier and that is because they are very good and very crazy. They are experts among experts and their class is very different and riders have big timers supporting them. I doubt if a pro MX rider will attach himself on his bike by using a peice of cord. I think that it only applies to free stylists and not for everybody. There are other free style riders riding big bikes, road racers, motards, off roads, trials, scooters and even mini bikes but I doubt too if they will prefer to have the cord on them. Do you have Moto X in the Philippines? I hope that Pinoys will stay away from this class because it's just too dangerous.
Do you remember the Chinese Kung-Fu movies where they use ropes and cranes? If I'm rich I would like to have a rope tied on me so that whenever I fall from a cliff or a boulder, the crane will just pull me up without endangering even my fingernails :I Since I'm not rich and I cannot afford to use a stunt man :O I think I have to be happy doing it the old fashion way and thats fall, crash, vomit, bleed, loose a tooth, have stiches, and the old fashion use a cane to walk thing...
Burnout, stay away from free style riding unless you are really prepared to take the pain and it will also burn a huge hole in your pocket. Be contented with PS2 because I'm too.
