I've seen some hotrod riders wear helmets like those used by Nazi German soldiers during the second world war. They look so bad-a$$! Any info on these??

It's perfectly legal isn't it? They may look like a to you but that's what they want. Those nazi look a like helmet is in fact used by nazi riders during their heyday. So come on , "kanya-kanyang trip lang yan p're".

The shape and everything is the same. But there is a new wave out and some of them are chromed. I know they are sold in America as most hotrod rider gears are actually inspired by the Nazi era--long leather boots, skull-design leather jackets, bucket helmets.

If you watch Star Wars you'd notice that even the helmet of Darth Vader is based on the shape of the Nazi helmet. Actually even Hollywood is pretty much inspired by the Nazi-era. But this is the Philippines so I guess there is no market here for such products.

Everyone should grow up and just be more liberal towards subjects discussed here.

so you're saying that religion should be limited to the 4th grade? :8

being religious = immaturity?

Of course not. But as an adult you must admit the fact that there are people out there who are not as religious as you are. And that you have to know where to draw the line. Also you have to know how to be relevant and adaptive. For example, this is Motorcycle Phillippines and NOT Christianity Philippines. Therefore the time you mix religion into this forum is the time things start to get "irrelevant" so to speak.

You will notice that I've always been very outspoken out here. But never have I attacked any one individual member in this forum. Because my objective is "discussion" and that is where I draw the line. I don't cross the line. I don't step beyond the line. I don't tell people what they should or shouldn't say in their posts, because that would be intrusive of another person's freedom of speech.

It is true that I've said some things that may sound harsh. But that is where the line is. Many of you crossed that line by attacking my posts. UNLESS you are the owner of this forum then you do not have the right to tell me what I should or shouldn't say in my posts. You do however have the right to disagree. But there is a thin line between disagreeing and attacking. So be careful.

Well I for one dont really care about a persons religious denomination or what ever other preachy eachy ideas flying around etc.etc. You are who you are,...... unless you can be bought for the price of a salted peanut.....or a dry martini. However adding wood to dying embers, ie, sounding pesimistic at a depressing situation doestn exactly help and if anything would make you sound more like that "notorious" characteristic called "alimango" or crab mentallity inherent here. Who wants to hear bad news all the time. That isn't to say I live in a box or up on the Chrysler Tower either........... The sores of this world exist.
Look! I think I see the sun behind those clouds. Do you see only lightning and rain?

burnout,

if that wasn't what you meant then you should have made your statement clearer. an "adult" would have done that. you said that the forum was like the 4th grade and that you're freaked out by all the religious attitude in the same paragraph. at the risk of sounding literal or "too technical", one cannot but help but associate the two statements together. eh?

being "nonreligious" (i.e. not believing in a religion), perhaps it has missed your attention or slipped your mind that everything a religious person does is affected by his religion just as a person's philosophy in life tend to affect his behavior. therefore anything that touches on religion, even if unintentional, will be reacted upon by religious people as per their religion. its a touchy subject at best. no matter how unintentional, if a person feels that he or his religion is being attacked, he will attack in return. i'm not saying this is right but it happens. you yourself should also be careful.

What I usually do in one of the forums that I participate in is change avatar every week.

Sometimes it's a spoof, like the one I'm using now. On other times I try to be creative and come up with my own designs. People like them because there is constant change and it's fun.

Notice the American Marines deployed in Iraq, they too wore the same type of Nazi Soldier Helmet. Maybe Herr Fuhrer Adolf Hitler did not have it registered at the Bureau of Patent in Deutschland Bundesrepublic - Berlin and Munchen - Thats why the Americans did not hesitate to copy it.

Most of this type of nazi helmets are worn by Hell's Angels and a number of cruiser riders, thus became a novelty item and sometimes called a bin helmet which offer less protection on riders.

One funny thing was - American Riders wear this, but German Riders did not.

We will hunt you down Mr. Hitler.....

Mossad - Israel's elite national elite secret service, i agree due Hitler's crime against the Jews during world war II Holocaust to fulfill his mission on Final Solution, but no Hitler to hunt after as he commited suicide together with Eva Braun in his Berlin bunker. We better hunt the Neo-Nazi and and those who idealized the methods of Dr. Joseph Mengele.

Of course the real Hitler should be dead by now whether or not he really committed suicide in his bunker as the Russians claimed in 1945. I mean to hunt down 'Burnout' who seems to advocate for a "Fourth Reich".

Shalom to you too
