I also had series of minor accidents..true enough that " it pays wearing a protective Gears!..

The quoted story below of my clubmate showed how important protective gears are..Imagine he is about 500 meters away from his home when the accident happened..

Sad to say, I became a victim of a hit & run on my way home while descending the Kalayaan-Bundia Flyover. I was hit from behind, I lost conciousness and woke up at OSMAK (Ospital ng Makati), after a series of x-rays & ct scans, I suffered only contusions on the head, right shoulder, right hips, right arm & legs....hay!!!! Salamat, I was in full gear...My Helmet had big scratches (hindi ko na gagamit). My OD mesh jacket was damaged on the right shoulders and arms (all pads are intact, pero unusable na). My right knee pads had big scratches and signs of melting.....IT PAYS TO WEAR PROTECTIVE GEARS!!!!!

Note: Since my family was out of town at the time of the incident, and I was unconcious until I reached OSMAK, I deep-heartedly would like to thank the following:
a. Security Guards & Tanods of Baranggay Bel Air, for taking care of me, calling an Ambulance, bringing to my house my bike and belongings....
b. EMPersonnel of Baranggay Poblacion, for providing first aid and the ambulance that brought me to OSMAK...
c. Emergency Trauma Ward of OSMAK, for attending to my medical needs; IV, x-ray, ct scans....
all of these they provided w/out asking if I could afford to pay...The only thing I signed was my release papers...
TO THESE PEOPLE....I'M PROUD OF YOU!!!!!


we really dont know when, where and how accidents will come..it cant be avoided but can be minimized its damaged..
