Thanks in advance! Ride safe!!! jeff_o June 23rd, 2004, 03:21 AM hi Gary, anong model ng HJC mo? yung older model ng HJC ko (FG-9) may exhaust ng hangin sa loob ng helmet eh. bale pag binuksan mo yung front vent (just below the shield) dadaan yung air then papasok siya sa mga butas just at the back of the helmet chin guard. so it will blow cold air towards the inner surface of your shield. para yung windshield position ng aircon ng mga kotse (pang defog). but sometimes it still gets fogged up. what i do is just open the shield probly 1/4 inch para may hangin na pumasok :D hope that helps. jeff_o June 23rd, 2004, 03:23 AM ooops i forgot. sa HJC may nabibiling breath guard. it's a triangular foam that you stick to your helmet's chin guard. so that when you breath, hot air will be directed downwards and not to your helmet shield to prevent fogging RiderDriver June 23rd, 2004, 08:43 AM Go hi-tech, use a sache shampoo, apply in the inside lense. I used it in Baguio in a Jeep Cherokee. I also used the shampoo. Good stuff. RiderDriver June 24th, 2004, 09:07 AM Pare pasensya ka na, that was 2 yrs ago, it was raining when it happened and can't remember the brand or if it had conditioner. No we didn't dilute but you get a little smear. I still have some of them, I'll go check. We have a special spray just for that application, windcity or something. don't waste your money, bili ka na lang sa tindahan ng syampoo. :) Dude, Do i have to dilute it with water? Yep, mine also fogs when i close it. syempre lahat naman e.. But i got rid of the problem, kaso bibilhin mupa yung product. I just wipe my lens with the product that i both.. i forgot the brand of it, try to look for it in some autosupply shop or any hardware store inside the malls. look for the thing that looks like a shampoo bottle. he,he (forgot the brand e) it says anti fog. its good specially during rainy days. Just ask the guys in the hardware store. :) Bogs60 June 24th, 2004, 08:31 PM or you can go to a dive shop and buy a anti fog spray..divers uses it to spray on their diving goggles..hope it helps :) brcpics June 24th, 2004, 11:30 PM one of the old anit-fog product is "Rain-X". usually sold at true value. apply to both inside and outside of the shield. it deflects rain and prevents fogging. not sure how much tho. Gary_Samson June 25th, 2004, 03:50 AM Yeah! I'll try both na lang, shampoo with and w/out conditioner. Laway din, try ko... Rain X, baka mahal pero i'll see if i can afford 1. Thank you sa mga replies nyo!!!  Ride safe, Bros!!! :) Blitz June 25th, 2004, 08:44 AM mga bro why dont you try your own LAWAY!!!! yes laway...... just a few drops and evenly spread it into the lens just like in scuba diving it might work.....hehehehe just my 2cents..... :vomit: Yikes! That works on scuba masks but on helmets? Wag lang kalimutan magtoothbrush muna before trying it out :O Tootbrushin din yung helmet afterwards :O bemps June 25th, 2004, 03:41 PM mga bro why dont you try your own LAWAY!!!! yes laway...... just a few drops and evenly spread it into the lens just like in scuba diving it might work.....hehehehe just my 2cents..... :vomit: yep pwede nga sya pero kung mag scuba diving or snorkling ka kasi it is washed by the salt water pero sa lens ng helmet, baka mangamoy panis na laway yung helmet afterwards. :O sinski_toybikes June 25th, 2004, 03:51 PM try to apply an anti mist liquid solution like what we put on cars winshield. it helps repel water and moist try it it might help. Chief June 25th, 2004, 04:16 PM The fog is caused by the difference in the temperature between the outside and the inside of the helmet. I agree with Zai. I've been diving for more than 10 years now. The best anti-fog is spit! No, it doesnt get washed away by saltwater in diving because you apply it on the inside. Same way with helmets. Apply on the inside. Works for me in the water. Works for me while riding. You'll never run out. If you do, you can always ask a buddy to provide you some. :O ZAI June 25th, 2004, 04:25 PM The fog is caused by the difference in the temperature between the outside and the inside of the helmet. Any brand will do. It works perfectly!!! Aplly it on the inside of the shield. Spread it thinly. Yosi, it works for a while then the rain starts washing it away. Villamor Riders Club (VRC) jeff_o June 26th, 2004, 04:48 AM i used to swim a lot and one problem is my fogging goggles. here's how i used my shampoo. drop a small amount spread with fingers. then dip goggles in water to remove excess shampoo, but it will leave a layer of shampoo on the inside layer. i hope this works on helmet shields too :D Gary_Samson June 26th, 2004, 04:59 AM rIDE BUDDIES, THIS IS GETTING EXITING... EVERYDAY MAY NEW technique akong natututunan!!! Hmmm.... ano pa kaya ang susunod? RiderDriver June 26th, 2004, 05:24 AM I still have some Sunsilk in my bathroom, looks like the one I used.
