View Full Version : Lifan Mania - Lifan Saturn
theddy June 19th, 2004, 02:24 PM ATTENTION ALL WHO OWN a LIFAN underbone.
Hello sa inyong lahat dyan. Newbie po ako.
Please help me to learn more about the Lifan particularly yun Saturn kasi I'm planning to buy one.
I'm sure most of you will suggest to go for an XRM since ito talaga ang uso but I really like
yun me konting set-up na like the Saturn for a tight budget na katulad ko since you will end up to 60-70thousand for grooming the XRM. In fact European standard accepted ang Lifan as I have read sa forum.
Is this underbone really worth buying for?
Is there any way that this underbone will likely WON'T last compared to all Japan made bikes?
Is i true that you can alternately use any Honda parts for Lifan.I'm sure against to sa Honda.
Thank You po sa lahat.
Peace!
theddy June 19th, 2004, 09:51 PM Thanks rider!
reliable talaga japan made but i know that it really depends kung pano mo aalagaan yun motor.
1.May I know kung gaanong katagal na sa inyo yun saturn?
2.Ur top speed when at stock and when u changed the carb? Why changed?
3.May I know what are the differences and what you MOSTLY like about your three bikes compared to one another?
Syensya na dame ko tanong.
Thank you very much!
Rider June 20th, 2004, 09:40 AM theddy hi !
O talagang maganda suspension as if pogi or it something to do with the driving?
May I know na din in specific kung anong type/brand ng pipe at carb ginamit mo nung naka-100kph ka na sa lifan? Para just in case makabili ako me idea na din ko.
Thank you uli!
Ride safe!
dioZX June 21st, 2004, 10:09 AM Tama si Rider it depends how you handle yung motor mo. Pero if you want talaga ng lifan Saturn then go for it. :) But I have my XRM now setup bale pinalitan ko ng gas shox sa likod, endurance pipe, vacum and oil breather. OKs namans sya as of now. :)
theddy June 21st, 2004, 06:35 PM thanks guys sa tulong! In some way kasi nakakahiya ng konti pag mag-oopen ng ganitong trend lalo pa't made in china lang ang kaya ng budget. Halos lahat preferred and japan. We all know na japan is very reliable compared to china.
Last question na Rider.
In terms of km/li. for
Wave125?
xrm?
saturn?
Thanks and ride safe always!
theddy June 24th, 2004, 07:17 AM thanks uli.
By the way, may I know approximate km/li ng wave?kunwari 50liters/ 1 liter..
Safe ba naman bang mag-angkas sa saturn?
Rider, kindly see also my pm.
Salamat and ingat!

FREESPIRIT August 26th, 2004, 09:00 PM Ako din I own a Chinese made motorcycle (Jiajue 110) kasi I needed a cheap and reliablbe means of being mobile. Just take care of your bike and keep it clean always at tatagal yan. Handle and operate it well, kahit ano naman motor pag barabarabay ka gumamit guaranteed na 3 months or less lang ang buhay niyan.
As far as fuel consumption generally the smaller the engine displacement the more economical ang fuel consumption. Tulad sa akin full tank ng motor ko e more or less P100.00 (premium) at nag red (Kahit na ganun madami pa palang gas yun) lang ang fuel gauge ko after mga 130 km. Tipid di ba? More or less mga 42-45 km to the liter.
Yun nga lang there are some kinks here and there na lumalabas pero madali namang naayos at di na nauulit once na maayos agad.Like medyo lumuwang yung kadena at tumatama sa chain cover naulit lang uli kasi e may nadaanan akong pako at nasiara ang interior ko and I had to change it.so medyo di maganda ang pagkabalik sa gulong kaya ayun lumuwang uli and kadena so I have to go to the dealer to tighten the chain again.so advice ko lang regarding this matters eh just bring it back to your dealer agad at huwag mo pagagalaw sa ibang mechanic kasi mawawalan ng saysay ang warranty mo.
Just be wise, ride defensively. Remember na kaya ka bumili ng motorized means of transportation is first and foremost mobility and convenience at a very economical way.
Have fun and drive safe always.
