Hello everyone I'm new on the site, my cousin just arrived this friday and told me about motorcycle philippines. Anyways is anyone here from e-town? I ride a 01 r6 and thinking of making it as a track bike in stratotech. I'm purchasing another bike for everyday riding, I'm still contemplating on a 08 r1 or a gixxer 750. Let me know what you guys think about the two?

Between R1 and Gixxer 750, I think both are great bikes. The gixxer is more nimble, has the handling of 600 but with an extra kick. Great track bike or even for canyon rides. Though if Im goin to buy one for an everyday commute I would go for the liter bike, the R1. It would be a good choice especially for long commutes like freeways or even in side streets where you have better gear ratio (you dont have to change gear that often). But then again, depends on your skill, your preference, your usage.
