chrisjo June 14th, 2004, 10:31 AM hey romey!
well, nice to know you're going back home after a loooooonngg time! if you dig halo-halo - the best i have tasted is in quezon - lucban, quezon to be exact. another favorite place i take a guest/balikbayan is kamayan sa palaisdaan in tayabas, quezon - where you get to eat a hearty lunch in a hut floating on the fishpond.
btw, when are you arriving and how long will you be here? do visit us, SRC's at our hangout every saturday night!
if we get to, i'll treat you to halo-halo! (in quezon!)
romey June 14th, 2004, 10:40 AM hey, preciate the quick reply! i should be there end of june and staying for the month of july! mmm, kamayan, sounds like just the place i'm looking for! hmmmm, sunday riders club eh? sounds like a plan to me!

It was my longest ride ever! eh, mayrong akong conference na pinuntahan so i knocked two birds with one stone nah. eh, ang gandang ganda naman ang scenery at roads doon. took me 24 hours to get there! on my way, dinaanan ko ang vermont at Maine, eh paano, inulan naman ako! :{ for 20 hours it rained! pero pagdating naman, lumabas ang araw, and made it all worth while! okay, tama na, this is getting long(pinapraktis ko lang ang tagalog ko :) ). so, i'll keep you guys in mind when i get back, and hopefully my schedule will work out as i have too too many family to see (after a very long time) and too too many places to see. oh sige, i'll keep ya'll posted.

Ayus! Your tagalog is not as bad as you think it is.
I know the ironbutt.... we do have our own version here too. That was cool :C . I could just imagine the scenic view you saw.
You are welcome to meet us or any anytime. Do you have a bike to use already? Since you'll be stay in in Paranaque area, just keep in touch
btw, Do you plan to get the "rare exhaust" you were looking for already for your VFR?...... di ko pa nalilimutan yon bro. :)

thanks for the compliment.v Don't worry ayain ko agad si romey dyan sa inyo
romey June 15th, 2004, 02:14 AM ha ha! okay nga no?!
yup the trip was awesome, i can't stop talking about it. took 7 rolls of film so i would love to share them. so, used to got to fort bonifacio when i was small but can't remember a dang thing! i'm getting too excited now, now that i'm thinking about it.
and nope, i don't have a ride down there, i might be the only one in my family that rides! even if i could hang with you guys to share some stories would be enough for me! i guess motorcycle culture and camaraderie is a standard across the globe! (this may sound stupid for you guys, but i'm concerned about accidents and medical coverage away from my other home . . . naaaaah!)
oh and thanks for remembering about the exhaust. well, i finally found one here, a yoshimura slip on from the collector back. i found it on ebay and it was a dang battle for it but i won (and paid for it  ). but yeah, i'd be interested in finding things that we don't see in canada. cheers guys, i'll have a better idea of my schedule when i get there!
