View Full Version : Rain Coat (Military Type)
elaz June 2nd, 2004, 09:57 PM Guys,
Can you help me on where can I buy/get those military type of rain coat? I never tried looking yet (on malls) and Im asking now so its there when I get there. How much is it? I commonly seen it used by bikers. Is it the best (cost efficient) rain coat for biking? How about comfort?
Input appriciated :)
Bogchi June 3rd, 2004, 01:53 AM yung bang poncho ang hanap mo? sa raon meroon.

elaz,
price and defenitely size matters for both wasted and I sama mo na pongki baka magkagusto din :D

I surely need one for the comming Famy ride and for everyday use.
Wasted, Santolan is the neasrest place for us lets drop by this Saturday. Maganda siguro kung marami tayo baka maka discount ng malaki.
Bogchi, Boss Mgee, Jake thanks for the input.
MGee June 3rd, 2004, 10:26 AM word of advise lang guys, personnaly i wont recommend using that stuff when riding. its true its faster to wear and to remove than an ordinary raincoats, but it flaps a lot if you use them when riding, and the faster you go the harder and faster it flaps around. we found ours tatered and torn along the edges in no time at all. try nyo din, baka mahina na lang yung ginamit namin ni francis, you see weve been using our ponchos as ground sheet and kapote during our mountaineering days.
Bozchip June 3rd, 2004, 12:01 PM Sir correct si mgee sa may fort bonifacio madami stuff that bikers could use including yung rain coat. meron us and local made.

tukayo June 3rd, 2004, 01:05 PM I switched to the poncho raincoat primarily because it's the only one in the market that fits me tehehehehe :O. I bought mine at Divisoria and it is pretty tough though I have never experienced it flap, probably because of my built (nax :D, yeah right, I'm Mr Aerodynamic, I've got lot's of curves in my body where the air can easily flow without disrupting my ride). Cost me P150.00

tukayo June 7th, 2004, 03:16 PM My bro told me a story of a fellow tricycle driver who had himself fitted with a custom made rain gear.

tukayo June 7th, 2004, 07:04 PM Nag-search ako using "motorcycle rain suit" as key, isa yan sa mga results.
MGee June 7th, 2004, 07:23 PM maganda sana kung may available nang high tech material sa divi, waterproof pero breathtable like goretex, pero kung wala, provide a couple of vents incorporated in the design, otherwise pagdating mo sa bahay basa ka rin, sa pawis.

Ei ride buddies na within the divisoria area, baka naman you guys can canvass with regards to the material/s to be used then we can scout around sa mga "pasadya" na shops for the patahi.
Thanks!
