sana hindi lang helmet yung pinansin sa report although may nakita akong iba pang gears sa la mesa... sana binanggit na rin pati knee pads/ shin guards , gloves and shoulder pads at boots... but at least, it goes to shhow na nakakahabol na ang madla dahil ginugusto na ng karamihan na mag helmet otherwise di naman maguulat ng ganito sa news diba...

at JT triumph may mga sale na hjc 3k-4k sulit ka n.. sa cheap but good quality sa pier kayo pumunta JDS ang brand bilhin nyo un 1pc wag un nagagalaw un jaw area 1.2k matatawaran ng 800..kung low budget my index na 350 be sure un ung matigas ang construction madami kasi kamuha un..

Here's the best way to try on your helmet:

- Hold it by the chin straps. The front of the helmet should face you with the top pointing down.
- Put your thumbs on the inside of the straps, balancing the helmet with your fingertips.
- Spread the sides of the helmet apart slightly and slip it down over your head.
- The helmet should fit snugly and may even feel a bit too tight until it's in place correctly. Be sure it sits squarely on your head. Remember, if your helmet is too large it can be very annoying to wear because it's noisy and lets in the wind. And, in the even of an accident, it may come off!
- Once the helmet is on your head, make a few other checks of its fit, before fastening the chin strap.
- The cheek pads should touch your cheeks without pressing uncomfortably.
- There should be no gaps between your temples and the brow pads.
- If the helmet has a neck roll, it shouldn't push the helmet away from the back of your neck.
- With the helmet still on and securely fastened, move it from side to side and up and down with your hands. If it fits right, your skin should move as the helmet is moved. You should feel as if a slight, even pressure is being exerted all over your head by the helmet. Remember too, that a helmet gets "broken in" as you use it, so a new one should be as tight as you can comfortably wear it.
- Now, with the chin strap still securely fastened and your head straight, try rolling the helmet forward off your head. You shouldn't be able to pull it off. If you can the helmet is too big.
- Take off the helmet. Does your head feel sore anywhere. Are there any red spots on your forehead? Pressure points can be uncomfortable and can cause a headache after a long ride, so be sure your helmet isn't causing any. If it is, choose the next larger size or try a different brand of helmet.

i always disregard the snell or dot mark!

basta nakita ko sa independent review by a 3rd company that they did intentionaly crash the helmet to check its safety features at pumasa sa above average mark...

Bro ,yung SNELL,ano meaning nun?Meron akong Scorpion helmet(EXO-400),may nakalagay na DOT-SNELL...

The helmet part is what i liked .. but too short and too quick to give advices and tips ... but at least.:D

I crashed recently wearing a full face carting helmet. The jaw area that made contact with the sharp edge of a pavement made a deep scrape but it held and did not cracked. Medyo makunat I guess kaya na absorb yung impact. I owe that helmet for saving me from further injuries. Early retirement for that carting helmet and I replaced it with a Caberg.

for me ill buy a lid na dumaan sa isang independent company na ni review yung helmet and had subjected to simulated crash test...at pumasa above average by their standards

HINDI ako nag re rely dahil me naka DOT or SNELL sticker yan.

..kung me pagbabasehan ko eh yung sticker...ill go for the gold stamp certified by UK standards...:)

but if you have to much faith and confidence dahil me sticker...its for you to decide in the end...

SNELL logo stand for the approval seal of the Snell Memorial Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to research, testing, education, and development of helmet safety standards. It was founded in 1957, Snell has on of the most rigid testing standards in helmet safety around the world.

May mga arguement pa nga na yung standard ng Snell is too extreme that the testings they run wont even simulate a real life scenario.
