helmet is a must! zeus or gdr, affordable and quality is good enough. invest on a jacket as well, i use RS taichi, maporma na, protektado ka pa. gloves and knee-shin guards. i bought the jacket from motoworld 2 years ago, hanggang ngayon, ok parin.

Syempre helmet kagad dapat ang 1st priority mo bro mahirap na mahuli hehe:D Kung medyo low budget pero nice quality go for index or zeus, index nasa 1,700 pataas ang price, zeus naman yung fullface nila 2k flat color kung may grafics naman nasa 2,600 ang price, tapos pataas na din. Riding jacket pinaka murang nakita ko 2,800 with paddings na din shoulder, back, elbow, etc. sa exceed caloocan meron niyan. Gloves naman kung yung walang carbon fiber knuckles etc nasa 150 - 250 kung yung meron naman nasa 1,500 pataas din ang price. Knee/Sheen guard around 700 - pataas and price sa quiapo madami niyan, suggest ko raptor kasi gusto mo yung red black combination eh. So yun riding boots optional na lang pero maganda din sa mga long rides. Hope I could help. Ride safe bro!:)

Sir Welcome sa MCP...first of all..Helmet po muna Bilhin nyo..as for me dapat po Branded na Hindi fake para po nde sayang money nyo..try nyo po Zeus,carting,index & HJc..yung sa jacket may alam ako na 2.8k ang best price may elbow,back,shoulder protection @ Overdose..bili kn din ng Knee guard..important is safety gear..next na lang yung paporma ng motor..madali na lang yun sir..

Basta listo ka sa impulse buying bro.. I know excited ka, believe me ganyan din ako recently kasi newbie din ako. Kaya eto I ended up with 5 padded jackets, 4 kinds of helmets, 3 gloves. Parang nag sayan ako ng pera sa mga ibang nabili ko kasi it was too late before I found out kung ano talaga ang magandang bilhin. Take the advice of our fellow members pero mas mabuti suyurin mo lahat ng mga tindahan and see for yourself kung anu talaga ang magugustuhan mo then check mo ang reviews about the items you want to buy.

Very helpful for me. Newbie rin and nagbabasa muna dito before buying anything. Syempre I need to see how much yung total kung magagastos para pasok sa budget :) Salamat!

Limited Budget? Here is a gear list I do recommend without sacrificing Safety and Quality.

Helmet - HJC CL 14 - JT Triumph - P3.5t or less (because this is DOT/SNELL approved)
Jacket - Joe Rocket/Alpine Star - EZ_Rider - P2.8t(lowest in the market but offers equal protection and ideal for tropical weather)
Knee/Shin guard - Fox - Exceed - P1.2t (good quality of the plastic)
Gloves - make sure it's knuckled and leather,medyo maselan ako dito.
Shoes - any midcut shoes,preferably steel toed

as of now nabibili ko pa lang na gear eh index helmet and gdr modular helmet. i bought my index for as much as 1,300 tapos yun gdr ko 1,200. this coming saturday bibili ako ng riding jacket 2,000 lng paded na sya d2 sa mcp mahal ng bentahan buti na lang may nakit akong mura lang d2 sa may amin. susunod na bibilhin baka knee shin guard. unahin mo na helmet bro bago ang lahat.

oo nga pala sa pagbili ng gears wag ka magmamadali bumili agad canvas ka muna kung saan mura. baka mabili mahal sayan lang di ba. sa pagbili ng gears iba iba price ng seller try canvas first. ride safe...
