:D something similar happened to me too.

anyway, my (NOT VERY CLOSE) uncle passed away. my mom couldn't attend so i was given the task (with all the information i should know as not to look dumb) to represent my mothers side. his family name was ECLIPSE (non silent e). the wake was somewhere around Quezon circle, in a government complex - after hours of searching, i finally arrived and tried to explain why i was kinda late to the berieved wife (supposedly my aunt).

with all my confusion and trying to look straight and sober i said:
"good evening tita i'm so sorry for being late because i tried desperately to look for this place and i even got as far as the ECLIPSE Road" (which is suppose to be Eliptical road - bwahaha!)
my companions were abit turning flame red from giggling and elbowing me. as for me, i was turning (how i wish into a pumpkin) into a glowing bush when i realised what i stupidly said.

and to top it all, (maybe to hide my embarrasment) i said: "tita, please accept my apologies and i hope you have a fine condolence".....hwahwahwahwa.....nakputa mali lahat...sheeet!

gusto ko sana magpalit kami ng uncle ko....shyeet!
