AGV S4 or KBC Vr2?

ahh!!! who would not want a stealthy-finished AGV..?? it's AGV,, you can never go wrong.

Ive owned both Brands before....

My preference, Id choose an KBC, or better yet, ICON. If youre getting it from Bro DF22, order either brands.

Why? Replacement parts & Accessories like Sheilds even pads are readily available....

The AGV, i had a hard time finding it here just for the Shield. I had to scout it out in the US pa. Hassle....

Sir Akay, I personally have an AGV S4 and a KBC Force RR which I think is close enough to a VR2. As for helmet built I would go for the AGV plastic parts are way better than a KBC the lens for the AGV would have a more positive click when closed. For weight I would also go for the AGV but with the VR2 probably they would be the same. For noise to me AGV is way quieter than the KBC, it is almost as quiet as my Shoei RF 1000 but does not fog up easily. Lens removal KBC is alot like a Shoei and an HJC when removing its lens and an AGV is a B*=$%!!! to remove. Replacement parts KBC is alot easier and cheaper to replace... to sum it up, i'll go with the AGV better in almost all aspects and for the looks it would really look good for a naked bike.=) BTW, my KBC is an XL which has almost the same fit as a large AGV, Shoei and HJC. KBC runs a little bit smaller.

I think in choosing a helmet, I would not put the availablity of parts as a priority. If the AGV shows a better build in plastics and lens. If the AGV is more comfortable to wear and has less wind noise. I would still get the AGV even though replacements are scarce...

But the price of AGV is higher than KBC.

i would suggest that you try and fit them both...our heads are not of the same shape and sizes...both helmet are good, even better some other brands....get one which is more comfortable for you.....

i haven't had a chance to own an AGV helmet yet...but my KBC VR2 is comparable to my previous helmets...Arai Signet & Shoei GRV (i sold both helmets when i sold my first bike...)

bro's, parehas lang ba ang sizes ng shoei sa kbc or agv?
kc sa Shoei RFR small size lang ako ... ewan ko lang sa AGV & KBC..
hindi kc rounded ang head ko.

theoretically...they should be....but because models vary in shape...minsan di nagkakapareho...so far "M" fits me just fine....except for Zeus 2000 series helmets...masikip ang "M" sa akin thats why i chose "L"

so the best way talaga is to fit the helmet before you buy it.....

the shield for the s4 is readily available in the PHilippines.

Both kbc and AGV s4 helmet are snell certified.

I dont know if the AGV website has some mistake but it says only DOT and BSI. I've seen an actual S4 and did not see any Snell tag nor sticker in the back. I might be wrong though.

I initially like the S4 last month but I changed my mind and change to Stealth instead, not because it is not a good helmet but I'm not a fan of flat colors (I prefer glossy). My friend will bring me a stealth early next year, I just ordered last week.

AGV is BSI and ECE certified which has stricter standards than SNELL. My AGV S4 is made in China but the built quality is waaay better than my KBC Force RR.
