View Full Version : Nid Help in my Z200(pugak)

Guys ung z200 ko pumupugak-pugak then ung rpm ko nag loloko cant say nman na nag sstatic sya pero 2 lang ang destinasyon nya eh its either nsa 2 or nsa 0 nag start nman sya kaso lang pag pinaandar eh pugak pugak tlga ano kaya ang problema? nag palinis lang ako (motot wash) this afternoon then napaandar ko sya from monumento to munoz and back after pa hintuin ko eh ganun na ang naging prob nya.... kainis lang kasi kapapagawa ko lang sira nnman... kung sinoman po ung mga mag rrply salamat po!

ilan lang naman ang kelangan mo i-check dyan..
1. electricals. (static) make sure the HT wire is secure, the sparkplug is tight and the cable connecting to the sparkplug is dry as well as the area around it. im thinking na nabasa ang HT wire mo connecting to the ignition coil. so unplug it and wipe it dry as well as the coil. if you have a spare spark plug, replace it.
2. carb. carb might be dirty. have it cleaned. if you know how, u dont need any instructions. if you dont know how, have a mechanic check on it.
3. water in the tank. if you've done both and it's still not ok, drain your tank and check for water in the fuel. most likely that's the culprit.
if it's still not ok, have it checked at a service center. im kinda ruling out cdi kasi it's still turns and runs..
i suspect the coil coz that's where your tachometer is getting the signal for the revs..

agree w/ sir ponti.. naexperience ko na ang 1 & 3..

check ur choke...
check ur gas, baka malapit na magreserve..
check also ur engine kill switch baka nabasa...

if ur engine goes well, expect that ur tachometer will be ok.. but kng d pa rin maayos, have it checked by ur mechanic..

sir ponti and ooseven thanks po sa mga inputs ehehehe d ko masabing naaus na ung motor under investigation pa hahahaha as of now umaandar sya may nakapag sabi sakin na a/f mixture daw ang problema since nagbabago bago daw po ito due to vibrations of the mc by the way ang ginawa ko po sa kanya eh binaklas ko lahat... tinangal ko ung tank, then replace ko ung old spark plug ko then tinangal ko din ung HT wire pati battery tinangal ko na din tinignan ko ung water nung battery then nagdagdag ako kasi ung iba kulang laman, chineck ko ung mga wiring connections then sinalpak ko lahat aun umandar sya sabi nung napag tanungan ko baka daw na tsambahan un sa a/f mixture kaya umandar so un nman ang pag aaralan ko anyweyz thanks po sa inyo mga sirs!

good to know that ur bike is orking fine now sir..just a note on the a/f mixture, indi sya nagbabago sa vibrations..the change is due to the air temperature and humidity..iba talaga ang takbo ng motor sa umaga and gabi kasi malamig pa ang hangin, cold air has more oxygen content unlike sa tanghali or in the middle of traffic na medyo dispersed..performance-wise, it will change but very slightly, should not affect daily driving..but has noticeable effects when racing..;)

after observing it for about a week now... nasira ulit T_T thrice akong namatayan this night at monumento circle in the middle of the traffic... unang beses umaandar lang ako then biglang prang nawalan ng power tulak ako konti then nag start ni rev ko namatay ulit tulak ako hanggang makatabi sa gilid pag pindot ko nag start ulit umandar cguro mga few kilometers away namatay ulit and ganun lang ulit nangyari pag uwi ko sa bahay kinalas ko binalik ko ung spark plug ko sa dati then nag start sandali namatay nnman binalik ko ung dati nag start then namatay nnman nung kinabit ko ung tangke aun umandar na ulit ngaun umaga nagamit ko sya hanggang gabi d nasira iimbestigahan ko nnman ulit kung kailan nasisira hayys kakapagod T_T

sir kezocraze, based on a friends' z200, his mc would start ok after a few minutes engine dies, either at idle or mc running, we replaced stator and his 'tirik' problem was gone, also seen this on another mc brand, same symptom and cure...
and another... z2 engine won't start, carb ok, sp ok, battery ok, connectors all tight, starter would crank but engine won't start...replaced rectifier/regulator...brooom! one click start, if rpm related could be a cdi problem... hth

sir jolads tenks for the reply if im not mistaken bago pa ang rectifier ko i think nagpalit lang ako nung mga mid september so kung un nnman ang sira 2nd rectifier ko na for this year T_T if cdi nman ang sira kapapalit ko lang din cguro mga october nman un if ever nman cdi ang sira 3rd cdi ko na ito for this year... prang hindi na ata normal itong mga nasisira sakin prang angdalas na pansin ko kasi ang aun din sa mga ibang nakilala kong naka z200 d2 samin eh nakaka 1 yr straight sila tune up , change oil lang sama pa palit clutch ako for this yr dami ko na napalitan ahuhuhuhu

Just found out this afternoon... my oil was spilling out! banda sa place ng 17teeth sprocket ko kaya pala nalangisan ung chain ko ung pala tumatapon na ung langis... pansin ko din na ung turnilyo na pang sara sa cover ng sprocket ko eh lose thread na another sira again 3rd na pagawa ko na ito ng mga oil spill problems ko... if this continue ill gonna stop riding motorcycle again medyo nadadala na ko...

pressure loss pala ang problema...just make sure when ur tightening the nuts and bolts ah tamang pressure lang kasi aluminum ang mga parts ng mc natin..the bolts tighten itself pag umiinit na..

sir ponti hindi po un ang sira iba pa po un bale namamatay parin sya at the same time nag lleak ung sa may engine sprocket anyweyz kinalikot ko ulit sya knina i remove the engine sprocket case (i dont know what to call it) then remove the sprocket itself and found out where the leak is comming from its from the oil seal from sprocket itself ang nakakapag taka lang eh hindi sira ung oil seal or loose its just went off by itself tapos ung chain ko is very loose na so ginawa ko i just stuck the seal as tight as i can then i took off 2 pieces of my chain pra medyo sumikip aun naayos na ung prob sa leak ang sa chain pero i dunno if it will last sana tama ung ginawa ko hehehe

try to replace stator and spark plug, for the chain kung sagad na adjustment (if the axle bolt is on the most rearward position) better replace the chain to good quality brand just to be safe and should last for thousands of kms, and replace also that oil seal, don't just stick it in, the surfaces must be well cleaned or hindi rin magtagal, be careful also w/ overtightening bolts specially on the engine or block to avoid loose-thread

sir jolads nilinis ko po ng gaas ung banda sa sprocket ko kasi medyo makapal na dumi... may leak na sya ulit pero hindi malakas same lang din ng pinangagalingan dun parin sa oil seal ano po ba pede kong ipalit na mas ok d2? if ever na meron po palagay nlang din po d2.. salamat po!

sir if you don't like the stock brand bring the oil seal as sample and ask around auto supply shops or other mc shops, they may have the exact size for that oil seal

mga sir gud day d ko pa napalitan ung oil seal sira na ulit z2 ko hehehehe just this morning galing navotas pauwi ng malabon 100kph dahil wla nmang trapik at mga sasakyan then pag dating sa intersection namatay nlang bigla tapos rpm ko is nsa 0 ano kaya naging problema nnman nito tenks po ulit sa mga mag rereply

nag-start ba ulit? kamusta naman ang fuel level mo nung namatayan ka? nangyari na kasi sakin dati na barado pala yung gas tank ko(cage)..ang masama lang nun eh huli ko na tiningnan. nagpalit na ako ng ignition coil, fuel pump, fuel filter, carb tune-up..etc..just to find out that my tank's fuel hose was touching the floor of the tank..kaya wala na masipsip..have your tank drained and check sa mga obstruction...

sir ponti d na sya nag start ulit so ung usual nlang ginawa ko mag tulak hehehe pag uwi d2 sa house nmin eh try ko ulit sya start pero ayaw pa din ung rpm ko is still on 0 then pinalamig ko muna sya pra madaling baklasin then nung lumamig na try ko ulit pa start pero same parin so kinalas ko sya tangal tank then ung high tension hinigpitan ko, tangal kabit ng spark plug then pag start ko umandar na up to now d pa ulit sya nasisira aside from the leak from the engine sprocket nywey salamat po sa mga reply nyo ah nag sisimula na kong mag karoon ng idea kung pano ausin motot ko pag nasisira hirap kasi ng magpagawa lagi ubos ubos ako T_T

pansin ko lang sir na yung usual fix invloves the removing and placing the following parts:
1. spark plug
2. HT wire
3. Gas tank
you might be focusing on electricals too much (HT and SP)..knowing electrical parts, the way they work is either "on" or "off". kung sira, di talaga gagana..kung ayos, gagana. no in-between. since you've already been doing DIY, try to look at your tank (inside and out) and fuel lines..check for any obstructions to the carb..you might be able to see something there. HTH.

sir ponti kaya ko lang po lagi ginagalaw yang mga parts na yan usual kasi from ayaw mag start then by moving those thing pag kabit ko bigla gumagana d ko din sure pero ganun tlga nangyayari anyway sir meron po ba kaung ma i suggest na mga place to check or kung meron din po kaung step by step na instruction pra makasabay ako tenks po ulit...

sir for the tank..wala naman masyadong step by step..just check the internals of the tank..make sure it's clean and walang loose hoses, rubbers or any foreign object that should not be in the tank..check for rust particles, water droplets by scrpaing your finger on the side walls of the tank. (pure fuel should evaporate quickly and should not leave a greasy/oily feel on your hands or fingers). .check the hose from the tank to the fuel filter..your filter might be clogged as well..yung sa tank, habang nakatanggal, try putting some fuel and then shake the tank..bout half a liter and see if it will flow freely..dapat tuloy-tuloy sya at hindi dripping lang..dapat consistent yung flow..check the quality of the fuel that will come out..while you're at it, clean the inside of the tank with soap and water..just make sure you let it dry completely..you can try blow-drying the inside with a hair blow dryer..HTH

up ko lang po ito may pics po ba kayo ng carb ng z200 para malaman ko kung alin ang a/f mixture? iba pa ba yun sa pag aadjust ng menor doon sa may carb kasi grabe na ang pugak ng z200 ko pag nag babawas ako ng gear or palusong yung takbo niya tapos di ako nagamit ng gas pugak ng pugak xia or nagbaback fire tlga siya.
