Yung asa left P2500, fullface yun di nga lang washable yung loob. lalaban mo talaga buong helmet pero ito gusto ka gamitin kasi snug fit talaga sakin hehehe. yung red naman modular yun, P3500 sa motoworld detachable/washable ang lining non. mas mabigat yung modular kesa sa 803. :)

Hi, sorry if this may sound like preaching but I'd like to share some info to help you understand the value when you buy a Zeus (or actually any helmet )...

A helmet with safety approval means that it has been constructed to pass certain impact tests. Although there's no guarantee you won't get injured in the event of a crash, a safety approved helmet means that you stand a better chance of surviving it. There are many types of helmet homoglogation depending on the market but the widely known ones are ECE22.05 (EU countries), DOT (USA), and SNELL (private foundation in the US).

805 has the ECE22.05 safety approval po like with all Zeus Helmets available here except for 508/508W. You can see the ECE code sa strap and the helmet's production code. For 508/508W, we have the DOT version as we are using the Asian shell for better fit.

When you visit a manufacturer's website, although a certain helmet model is advertised to have Snell, DOT, ECE, ACU, JIS etc., it doesn't mean that the actual helmet you are getting has all those safety ratings so you have to check. Manufacturers usually customize a helmet depending on a market's safety standard needs (in our case, I don't think its required). So a helmet can be constructed to pass either of those safety ratings. But it can also mean none if to lower the helmet's cost.

Therefore, a sticker is just a sticker, I'm sure we've all seen alot of helmets with SNELL/DOT stickers although its obvious that its not.

agree with that sir. you can also check the helmets inner shell. it will also bear the seal or logo of DOT/Snell/ECE etc. in my helmet the Snell logo and approval seal is stamped in the inner shell. you'll have to pry the cloth liner to see it

Ay yes! For SNELL, there should be some kind of holographic sticker inside the liner. For ECE naman, there's a tag on the helmet strap. Actually, even the visor has to pass the test ah.

DOT ang medyo mahirap cuz I think honesty system sya. For example, if a brand has one model that passed DOT, they may claim that all or most of their other helmets models have DOT as well.

i have tried and tested BOTH brands
FULL face china brand - 1st helmet ko pero tinapon ko na dahil sa aksidente
Zeus Modular- nabenta ko na
HJC (half face) - ninakaw sa parking lot
HJC ( OPEN FACE/CAP style na may leather sa likod) hanggang ngayon nasa akin pa
Zeus 666(Half face)- ninakaw din
SPYDER - forgot the model pero yung latest - SHARK look alike <---

kung ganun kalayo ang byahe mo i suggest FULL FACE ang kunin mo, alin man dun sa gusto mo... both brands are GOOD

QUALITY - parehas OK, kung iisipin mo kung sino mas MATIBAY... ang isasagot ko dyan di ko pa na try. SHOIE, ARAI, HJC nababasag din depende sa IMPACT, kaya halos bale wala na yang basehan na yan pagdating sa ECE, DOT at SNELL na yan
naaksidente na ako once, as in humiwalay ako sa scooter ko. im wearing a CLASSIC CHINA FULL Face brand na helmet (1st helmet) yung halos karamihan gamit ng messenger. gasgas lang ang lens, walang basag sa shell, hindi sumakit ang ulo ko kinabukasan. wasak ang jaket at pantalon ko, tocino sa braso at tuhod, pati sapatos ko gasgas din. ganun kalakas, mga 5-10 meters siguro ang ini-slide ko, still... NO HEAD injury

pero gaya ng sabi mo SLOW ka mag ride pag gabi - that is GOOD and the safest way

BUDGET - affordable ang SPYDER
LENS - pareho lang nagkaka-FOG, depende sa weather
CLEAR LENS - para sa akin SPYDER kahit na umuulan:clap:

WEIGHT - depende sa model
FULL FACE/MODULAR - mas mabigat ang ZEUS sa SPYDER
HALF FACE - magaan ang model ng ZEUS 666 pero di maganda ang paddings
